Customer Reviews:
Quirky and Beautifully Chaotic.......2006-08-19
"There's something that I can't explain to you..."
Joanne Stato has loveable appeal and her satirical lyrics are perfect for moments when you know you shouldn't be bratty, but you just feel like being silly to avoid thinking about the inevitable twists and turns of existence.
She is mysterious all while being playful and her "talking to myself" track made me laugh out loud with its quirky pacing and silly lyrics that she repeats as if a record is skipping.
"Love is a Word" gets pretty sentimental and is comforting. Some of her songs are more like stories and others have the feeling of running through fields of flowers with abandon. More fun than most country songs, the music at times feels beautifully chaotic.
If you are in the right mood, in the right moment and in the
right place, this is very enjoyable.
"reading a book..."

Talking to everybody ..........2002-10-14
These songs are little novels, each with a story to tell and so many emotions to convey. Melodic, reflective and full of joy, this music is a delight.
Talking To Myself.......2002-09-19
Joanne Stato's album, "Talking To Myself", is extremely personalized and filled with emotion. Her music is from the heart, expressive and truthful. A must for music afficionados who enjoy the artistry of music-making.
