Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars local music at its best.......2000-08-03

although many people have not yet heard of mark erelli, it can be shown that his fame will grow rapidly. with a gentle sound, both relaxing and energising, Mark's music always hits the spot. It is an extreme pleasure to have seen him live on a number of occasions, and to talk with him about his lyrics. Although i personally enjoy some of the songs from "Long Way From Heaven" more, this CD still shows the wear and tear from overuse.

5 out of 5 stars The sweetest voice you've ever heard.......1999-12-28

I've never known a musician to be so honest. I adore this album and seeing Mark live is the best thing. My faves are "I Always Return", for the senitmental sap in me and "Midnight Train" just to hear Mark howl.

5 out of 5 stars Dynamic Debut.......1999-12-18

Some artists hope to end up where Mark starts out with his first release. A CD that can't be pigeon holed as folk, country or rock.....it's all of them neatly rolled up into a top notch package. Smart songs... starting with the first cut, Do It Everyday, and closing with Northern Star, this album is a brilliant work that demands replay. Thought provoking lyrics, sung with style and grace, accompanied by great musical talent and produced perfectly. As good as this is, Mark really has his work cut out for himself when he does a follow-up CD. Absoultely one of the year's best.

5 out of 5 stars Great music for everyone!.......1999-09-13

This album has a splendid mix of everything for everyone of all ages and is just right for any mood you are in.

5 out of 5 stars Very Cool!!.......1999-06-01

I started listening to Mark on my sister's advice, but now all of my friends have his CD. It's great. And he is even better live!
