This is one of my favorite June Tabor albums. It shows off her voice without undue distraction. The mood is quiet, meditative, and almost hypnotic in places. It tends to provoke deep thought and feeling. If you like to be constantly stimulated by noise and jangle, avoid this album. However, it is perfect for a quiet evening when you are lost in melancholic reverie.
