I am a big fan of Golden Bough, and was blown away by this album. There is something about the purity of these songs that speaks directly to my heart. I especially love "Caledonia" -- once you hear it, you'll never forget it, and you'll want to hear it again and again.

I like this album because it brings together the different streams of music that make up the songs and rhythms of Scotland -- including the Celtic, Gypsy, and Nordic influences. Some of the harp selections are absolutely haunting.
