Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Fun for all.......2000-05-25

I first heard A Chat with Your Mother (aka the F-word song) from them, live at a festival. I have since heard it, also live, from the twisted folks who wrote it, and have also seen, but not heard, Leslie Fish's additional verses. It's a hoot, a scream, and does wonders with the Anguish Language.

I've always loved Sally's voice and treatment of songs; Howie has his own style, but they blend well together.

Plastic Rap makes you think about what happens after you've used the one-use plastic; Testing asks whether we really want the asnwers for which we are testing, and what we will do with the knowledge.

Names is about an AIDS memorial quilt--gets me crying every time. Ain't Life gives you a better feel for Howie, solo.

It's a Pleasure to Know You I loved from the first hearing. When my son is ready, I'd like to teach it to him--he can probably handle the chorus now. This song just flows so smoothly that I can listen to it every day.

Many of the rest of the selections are instrumental--these two are both fine musicians. I don't have a strong recollection of Cordova or Our Children, alas, so can't comment on them.

It's a lovely album. Put it in your car (with or without kids) and be calmed while driving. Put it on your home system and make the chores lighter.

So when will they do another duet album?
