This is an incredibly funny CD. I was laughing so hard at *Eggs Like These* there were tears running down my face. *God Loves the Irish* is brillant, and the Inappropriate Singing Styles are hysterical. I would go see these guys in an instant, or wait on line to buy their next CD. Especially if you like parody and clever lyrics, buy this CD!

I actually saw this trio perform last night as an opening group for Christine Lavin, they were better than she was. I bought the CD and played it on the way home. The song "Moe" was very funny and touching at the same time...any song involving a boy's father looking like Moe Howard of the 3-Stooges and the problems it caused him growing up in Brooklyn that can still be touching is pretty amazing. "Inappropriate Song Styles" is just a wonderful mixture of song vs. the inappropriate singer. ..a Rap version of Roger's & Hammerstein's "Surry With the Fringe On Top" is one such bad mix. The groups music is not geared for strictly male or female appreciation. They are talented and very funny with enough commentary and bite to keep your interest, but without any hint of snideness or nastiness that passes for commentary nowadays. Not a classic musical review, but get the CD for someone as a Christmas Gift, they'll like it.
