Too bad it's unavailable in most places.......2000-06-12
River of Fallen Stars: A nice song, although Maura's voice here is changed. I personally feel very strongly that the live version is much nicer (I've been to about 5 Kennedys concerts).
Wall of Death: A very nice song, one of my mother's favorites. The lyrics are very free and inspiring.
Winterheart: The title says it all. A lady who just doesn't have any interest in her suitors, who are all hopelessly devoted to her.
Fortune Teller Road: Very similar to River of Fallen Stars, although lacking the jarring quality to the lyrics; this is probably my favorite track.
Run the Red Horses: A very mystical song, with an almost breathy quality to it, and only a few lines of lyrics repeated.
I love this album very much, and was upset when the Kennedys stated that no more copies were available. However, since amazon.com carries it, I'm very pleased.
Terrific debut, great from the opening chord!.......1999-10-13
