Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars excellent recording, I highly recomend it........1998-08-23

Lots of great old songs on here, it's too bad he isn't still recording. There is a good variety of music and the guitar playing is super, so are the fiddle and banjo. His voice is unmatched in country music(in my opinion.) I hope other releases are or will be available soon.

5 out of 5 stars Great country music.......1998-06-01

I know Bill Cilfton and he is a fine gentleman. But I never knew his music till I purchased some of his recordings. The strength and clarity of his voice is to be envied. He can really "purify" any of the older country tunes . The best song on the CD is " You Go to Your Church" which is executed in a driving but precise manner. No unintelligible twang in this man' work. Another CD he made is with Jimmy Gandreau ("River of Memories")--I heartily recommend it.
