Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Neal & Leandra Get Better and Better.......2002-10-18

I was lucky enough to see Neal and Leandra in one of their first concerts in Southern California. It was love at first hearing. "Rich" on this record thrills me every time I hear it. I can't match Leandra's beautiful voice but I sing along anyway. It's irresistable.

5 out of 5 stars Beautiful, compelling, thought provoking music........1998-12-11

Neal and Leandra have done it again, only better, if that is possible. "Ready for Memphis" builds as Neal tells his story of a young man on his way to Memphis to meet Martin Luther King. Every time I listen to it the hair stands on the back of my neck by the end. Each song is layered emotionally leading us to introspection. The beautiful, contralto voice of Leandra on "Rich" completes Neal's love song - a love song which could be directed to a parent, God, spouse, lover,or child. How fortunate we are that they share their prodigious gifts with us. Why aren't we seeing them on one of the top ten charts?
