5 out of 5 stars Quirky, Spooky, Fun.......2005-10-06

This disc runs from semi-traditional tracks, like Ramble Away (a Celtic ballad, I belive), to very quirky new tracks, like Rue the Day (a jazzy nightclub kind of number about the joys of vampirism). It has a broad range of musical styles and topics-most a little on the dark side, but with a fun twist. For example, "City of the Damned" is downright perky.

Ok, I admit, I haven't heard it yet but I will say that I *love* the quirky gothicfolk albums by "The Flash Girls", one of which is the marvelous and talented and delightful "Fabulous Lorraine" of this band. I know this is going to be another album I take great delight in introducing people to thereby showing off my urbane good taste.
