5 out of 5 stars One of our whole family's favorites.......2007-02-14

Even my 2 year old daughter loves this CD! One of the best CD purchases I ever made! :)

5 out of 5 stars question.......2007-02-12

I absolutely love this album but was wondering if anyone knew the song played in the final scene of the movie not listed on the soundtrack? thanks for any help.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely beautiful.......2007-01-18

This soundtrack is haunting - going from the childlike and innocent through to thought provoking and heart break. A soundtrack of hard times, innocence and hope.

5 out of 5 stars Soundtrack and CD extras big hit in my home.......2007-01-18

We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the songs in their entirety from the movie. The CD includes interesting facts about the time period the movie is set the characters involved. The screen saver program is a "hoot" as it has interactive features highlighting objects from the movie (a sledge hammer, cowbell, etc.) floating across the screen in the flood. You can point to an object to get an appropriate sound. You can click and hold on the object and cause it to move.
The music is a most relaxing alternative to the high energy music of today's culture. It brings me back to much simpler times when life was about people and relationships, unlike the "what's in it for me" attitude that is so prevalent now.
The two songs I don't have a great appreciation for are "O Death" and "Didn't Leave Nobody But The Baby" as neither reflect healthy values and morals.
