Smart educational lyrics, Fun to sing along with, and dance to. Kids will LOVE this. You can even listen to this over and over and not get sick of it.

This is by far one of the most fun, clever children's CD's I have had the pleasure of listening to! I love the use of non-traditional instruments and it's message to children to find their own beats and make their own music. The songs are catchy and I find myself forgetting to turn off the CD - even when my son is not in the car. So far, all of my other friends with children have asked for his name and went on to purchase copies of their own. I think anyone who is looking for fun, non-traditional, folksie kids music will fall in love with this CD. I love it!

This guy is incredibly talented, knows how to get kids engaged in making music, and is a great songwriter in his own right. Some friends gave us this CD as a baby present, and we all love it! Every family should have one!!

I agree with all the other reviewers that this is a great CD and Billy Jonas is an extremely talented artist with clever songs that both kids and grownups will like. (I too listen to this CD even when the kids aren't in the car!) We also saw him perform live once which helped us appreciate what a one-man-band he is with all those ingenious found instruments. I have given "What kind of Cat" as baby and toddler gifts lots of times, all to rave reviews, because most people have not heard of him yet. My one complaint is that I wish Billy would be more prolific. You can only listen to one CD so much!

Our whole family loves to listen to this CD. It is such a relief after listening to other kid CDs. We can all listen to this over and over and not want to pull our hair out. My 3 year old sings these songs on his own and requests this CD in the car. A great buy.
