1 out of 5 stars Another pointless cover remix.......2005-04-04

The Cardigans' "Lovefool" is another song from the late '90s that I used to love. It was fun, kitschy pop song...then I started hearing it every single hour of the day of the week. It did not take me very long to get sick AND tired of hearing the song (like No Doubt's "Don't Speak". To make matters worse, a really lame record company in New Jersey decides to make a few bucks off The Cardigans by re-releasing the song as a dance remix by a cheesy, one song dance act called Casual Sweaters. Of course Gina Pincosy (who also sang on Clueless' version of "Don't Speak") sings on "Lovefool". She somehow manages to sound like the lead singer of The Cardigans with her chipmunk, helium voice. She really should go work at Disneyland as Minnie Mouse with that voice of hers. SHe would be perfect. The remixes of "Lovefool" (like Clueless' "Don't Speak") is anything but good or original. If anything, they are pointless and useless. The Cardigan's version already had a good dance beat, why remix it? The beats are just tepid and nothing interesting. Shame on Under the Covers record for trying to make an easy buck with this lazy remix single.

3 out of 5 stars Not the original artists.......2001-11-20

I can't really provide a review of this single since I've never heard it. I just wanted to correct the review above. Casual Sweaters is a knockoff group who redid Lovefool. The Cardigans originally recorded this song and they are the group that appears on the Romeo & Juliet soundtrack. The Cardigans also released several albums prior to and after Lovefool.

5 out of 5 stars Very cute.......2000-02-22

this is a really cute song, I loved it on the "Romeo and Juliet" soundtrack, and I really like how this cd offers so many different versions of it. It's sad how no one really knows about this band and how this is the only single they've recorded. I would definately buy it and I recomend it to all my friends.
