Psichedelic from beggining to end........2000-11-30
The first track is an accelerator that prepares you to what will come next. Although I enjoyed practically every track in this record "encrusted filth " is worth mentioning. In this track you will find one the greatest example of what progressive trance is coming to be.
The album is for psychedelic lovers, in special the people who like to listen carefully to every detail a song has to offer. Every time you listen there's something new going on.
All tracks are around 8 to 9 minutes, with some lasting a little more.
If you enjoyed the Triptamin compilation take a closer look, this one is more noisy. A crush in the stomach. Beautiful.
Absolute Psychedelia!.......2000-11-29
The first track, "Pulsating Thing", is what I call an accelerator, starts up quite modest and slowly grows up to become pure delight. Distorted samples, sounds that resemble humans voices, beats, cosmic loops and a great deal of pan to amuse the ears.
Then comes "Deep Thought", the title is self explanatory. Following that "Black Project" rises the pan to absurd levels, absolute delight for lower that 7 ph blooded persons.
In "Hairy Liquid" the tempo is slowed for a more introspective track. That is, if there's any possibility for more introspection in this album.
Track 5 is "W.O.R.M.", a fast paced psychedelic drive to take you far. An upbeat song, with an almost rave tendence I'd say.
But nothing compares to "Encrusted Filth". Just one of the most absurd psychedelic song I've ever heard. It's absolutely tense. It's tight. It just trows your body into a limbo and makes you dance. This sound is the kind of sound that fills all space around you.
When "Soft Machine" starts you think the guys from Double Dragon have had enough. No way. The songs builds up from weird synth sounds and the drum section is just absurd to hear.
The last track, "Spiked" is a song to slow down your body after all the dancing is done.
