Donna DeLory is also known as Madonna's back-up singer and dancer for at least 15 years! Here she is with a fantastic song she wrote and fabulous mixes that give the song a completely new life of their own. The original album version is a beautiful haunting ballad that would put you in a peaceful relaxing trance. The mixes will put you into a different trance, the kind where you dance with no consciousness of the things around you. mixed by some fo the best DJ's around, this CD will satisfy all your dance music needs. It is a TRUE dance remix!

Ethereal girl to Club Diva.......2000-12-13

Donna Delory already broke new ground with "Bliss," her amazing sophomore album. In a time where the remixes are almost as important as the song itself (at least to the club going generation), De lory successfully manages to breathe an entire new life into "On & On," the lead single off of "Bliss." The origional version, which also leads off the single, plays softly with Donna's angelic-like vocals. The Warren Rigg remixes feature Donna's voice with the same breathy quality as the original, surrounded by a very orchestral and uplifting house rhythm remeniscent of the garage house that sprang from Chicago in the early nineties. The real gem on the CD is Junior Vasquez' version. The beat is rich with bass and encases tribal beats. This is a more progressive sound, this time featuring Donna's re-recorded vocals as she belts her lyrics and hits notes that would make Mariah Carey run for her money. Unlike Mariah, however, Donna gives an honest vocal performance, without the abnoxious vocal infractions and unnessecary pitch changes that made Mariah famous. It seems Donna has learned quite a lot from her mentor, Pop music's reigning Diva - Madonna, and reinvents herself from ethereal girl to club Diva. And with the help of Junior Vasquez, makes a club remix that surpasses even the best of Madonna's dancefloor masterpieces and is sure to be a club classic.
