This compilations is not for the die hard psy trance fans. It is a lovely collection of electro tunes but more esuited for the club scene, not the hardcore outdoor trance scene FR are famous for. The ambient cd is perfect for the trip back from a party or to listen to at home in bed after a party. The second cd is just hard breaks and dubs. Really nice but nothing great, Cass' mix on Re:evolution vol.1 was much more outstanding. Cd 3 is a kicker. Fat beats and nice effects here but with a clubby almost progressive house feel, for those who really like the nu skool psy trance, not for the old skoolers. Very nice compilation in most ways.

While I can't speak to the third CD mixed by Dominic Lamb since I'm not the biggest Goa Fan, the first two CDs are right on. I purchased this collection mainly for the first ambient CD which is excellent. It veers between ambient Goa and down-tempo trip-hop. The second CD mixed by Cass is fabulous as well with a great collection of deeper, UK-influeced psy.

This is a three disk set. This is electronic music with goa/trance -- excellent for xwindows and an e. Disk one is perfect for sex, melow but interesting enough and house/sci-fi, disk two is good and also sci-fi, disk three is crankin' excellence. interested in trance? some good programming in this set.
