Fun to listen to.......2001-04-29

First of all, if I could have given it 4.5 stars, I would have, but it just barely falls short of 5. Anyways, that said, Expand Your head is a really fun album to listen to. Don't buy it looking for profound lyrics or thought provoking sounds. Do buy it if you just wanna listen to some mindless music with a fun beat and some raunchy lyrics. It's sure to stick in your head for a while after listening to it. My personal favorite is track 1, Am I Sexy

Almost there, but not quite.......2001-01-12

I love the Lords Of Acid and all of their past remixes. I realize that this is an acquired taste of music, but the new mixes on this CD are just forced. It is as if they have ran out of cool ideas. The Praga Khan addition included with this CD is great. I really enjoyed some of the new stuff he included on it. Lords Of Acid is taking classic songs, such as their famous Pussy song, and just ruining them. Remixes are cool, as long as they are unique and keep some of the original music. They need to get some new mixes going on.

I love the Lords and have all their stuff, but this cd really disappointed me. I do like some of the songs, but not too many. The bonus track is definitely the best and I am VERY surpised I haven't heard it on the radio. If you are going to buy your first LOA cd, do not make it this one. Get Lust or Voodoo-u first. Those are the best of them all. Then you can get this one after you see what the Lords really can do!

I really like this remix album. Most of my friends prefer the original version but not me. I find the remixes much more listenable, danceable and interesting their Voodoo-U and Dirty Little Secret stuff. If you don't like remixes you won't like this album.
