Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Pretty hard, but with exceptions.......2004-11-23

This is definitely a dark, edgy, somewhat overdriven album, and for that I like it. The bass is deep, the synths are ominous and the drums are pitched down and heavey. Overall, I have to say that the Panacea tracks are my favorite because the Cavito stuff edges a little too far toward rave/house for my taste. The only real problem is that the tracks on this album are a little formulaic, consisting of the same break and a chopped amen throughout, and the happy hardcore breakdown in the middle of King of the Jungle was enough to have me hitting the eject button. Overall, though, it's an ok record with a few good tracks to snag for a mix.

4 out of 5 stars Dark Drum and Bass.......2003-01-24

Well what to say about Panacea and Cativo except for my compliments on this dark hard hitting drum and bass album. It happens to be one of my favorites. If you like your DNB very dark brooding and hard this album is for you. However quite interestingly enough the CD being live is not DJ mixed which I found quite strange because the vynil version of this is. This being the only reason that this CD recieves only four stars from me.
