Customer Reviews:
A New Trance Classic!.......2001-05-21
Melodic and energetic, if you like 'out of the blue' (system F w/Corsten) and other gouryella songs, you'll love this.
Tenshi trance-forms Transa-tlantic fans.......2001-03-02
Tenshi is Gouryella's (Tiýsto/Ferry Corsten) second release after the self-titled "Gouryella". CD2 features: The radio edit, Transa remix, and Ronald Klinkenberg remix. The radio edit is short and features the trademark Ferry Corsten sound, reminiscent of the earlier single, Gouryella. The Transa remix takes off where the radio edit left off: soaring synths, complex interweaving melodies, thumping beats, and is satisfyingly long. The Klinkenberg remix sounds more like the original radio edit, and has little new to offer, in terms of another interpretation of Ferry's work. Perhaps Klinkenberg did not want to deviate from the tried and tested Ferry formula. Since the single has not been released in the US, $12 to pay for a single, which has only 3 mixes, seems a little too steep for most budget conscious trance fans. I wish they had included more mixes (an Armin mix, for example) in this release, to justify the price. Overall, very good music.
