I've loved this music for 25 years. It's sounds as fresh, exciting and catchy as the day I first heard it. You can dance, dance, dance to it and you can enjoy it just sitting in a comfortable chair. Most of all, IT IS UPLIFTING FOR THE SOUL! The sound quality is very good too. Dear CD buyer, if you are after the best that Disco had to offer (and that was a great deal), don't hesitate, add this gem to your order. NOW!

SUPERB!!!!!!! SIMPLY "PERFECT". FOR THE TRUE DISCO LOVER. THIS LP IS FOR "DANCERS" AND THE "THINKING" LISTENER. THE ENTIRE LP TAKES NO.2 SPOT ON MY TOP 50 DISCO SONGS LIST, COCOMoTION -(EL COCO)takes #1. This is unique, there's no other Disco music which sounds like this. "BEAUTIFUL BEND" STANDS ALONE AND IT'S JUS THAT... "BEAUTIFUL"!

Producer Boris Midney makes hard beats orbit and swirl around - very spatial and seductive. The music inclines toward abstraction in "Boogie Motion" and "Make That Feeling Come Again". Midney's emphasis is on the melodies rather than on the lyrics, especially in "Make That Feeling Come Again". The album's Music pluses and virtues by far outweigh the numerous drawbacks of everything and anything pertaining to the lyrics.

This album is one of Midney's finest.

I had forgotten about this incredible gem until one night recently at a NYC niteclub the DJ started spinning "That's the Meaning". The crowd and the vibe were hysterical in what was an orgasmic aureal of layered sounds and beats. If your disco favorites are Donna Summer and Peaches and Herb I suggest you skip this and continue on in an unelightened vein, however, if you want to hear what was REALLY played at Studio then this is for you! You just can't get any closer to the velvet rope than this!

Is this Midney's best...or the 2d US A-European Connection??.......2001-08-21

Ah, choices, choices...swirling forever, like the string charts of "MAKE THAT FEELING COME AGAIN!"

Either is a faboo first spin for Boris newbies. For me, "USA-European" is his only album with truly brilliant moments. Yet "Beautiful Bend" is uniquely effortless-sounding, beginning with the intro to "That's the Meaning," ending half an hour later with the hedonistic promise of all disco records, delivered by only a very few others: that it would all last forever. Circuit morning music par excellence!

Note: Although they are listed as two compositions, "That's the Meaning/Boogie Motion" and "Make That Feeling Come Again/Ahh Do It!" are, in fact, a single continuous track, as a good stereo reveals. Does that make this the longest disco record ever? Hmmm...that's one hella rap!
