New Orleans Funk.......2000-06-27
Being a kid from New Orleans and growing up listening to New Orleans music, I had missed hearing the early recordings of Mac Rebennack on local "oldie Stations". When you grow up with this music, it's like a drop of fresh rain to hear it again after so many years. This album is a tribute to the man now known as "Dr John the Night Tripper",Check out "Storm Warning", the long version, and the fabulous "Foolish Little Girl" a classic, may the "Night Tripper"cruise forever.
