5 out of 5 stars AAA-"Anointed/Appointed and Approved".......2006-03-26

I've had this cd twice and would lend it to others-never to see it again!!! I can't say how happy I am to have found it on Amazon. The music/the words are all inspiring. "I'm going All The Way" has gotten me through some "trials and tribulations" and "He took away all my pain" helped me to continue on. Whoever buys this cd will not be dissappointed-it supplys whatever you need!!!

5 out of 5 stars One of The Most Uplifting Recordings In History.......2005-03-04

This is one of those albums that I could just play from start to finish and over and over. The music and spirit in these recordings is just incredible and the lyrics are among the best I have ever heard. I believe that everyone, particularly African-Americans, should own a copy of this album. There are a least 5 potential hit singles in this collection. This album affects me emotionally as much as any album of the last 25 years. I can be in any situation or mood and listen to "Black Butterfly" and be instantly invigorated and filled with power. I hear this song and get chills. One of the greatest albums in decades -and actually of all time.

5 out of 5 stars Their best album!.......2004-11-27

Africa to America: The Journey of the Drum is the Sounds of Blackness' best album! It is their finest collection of music to date. I love all of their albums but this is a must-have for anyone who enjoys urban gospel music and wants to be uplifted!

Many songs hit home for me, especially when I'm having a bad day. My favourites are: "Lord Will Make A Way", "He Took Away All My Pain", "Livin the Blues" and especially "A Place in My Heart".

"A Place in My Heart" should have been a single. Next time you listen to this song, listen closely to the words. Very inspiring message from mother to daughter. No better singer could deliver the message on this song than Ann Nesby.

Purchase this CD if you like the Sounds of Blackness. The whole CD tells a true story with a very happy and inspirational ending. Enjoy and God Bless!

5 out of 5 stars I Have It Again.......2001-10-19

I was so happy to receive this CD after I had lost it a few years ago. The CD is absolutely excellent. If you have never heard Sounds of Blackness before, I guarantee that the first time you hear it you won't be able to stop. If you like their first CD, "Evolution of Gospel", you will like this CD twice as much. I play my CD at least 3 times a day (notice "at least"). You will love Ann Nesby, the lead vocalist on most of the tracks. You might almost mistake her for someone like Aretha Franklin. You will love songs like "I'm Going All The Way" and "The Harder They Are The Bigger They Fall." Other good songs are "I Believe" and "A Place In My Heart" in which Ann Nesby sings a tribute to her daughter. "Strange Fruit" and "Black Butterfly" might actually bring tears to your eyes as you hear about the struggles of African-Americans in the slave days. Get "Africa to America: The Beat of the Drum" if you haven't already and also get "Evolution of Gospel" if you don't own that already.

5 out of 5 stars Better Than Their Debut Album of Three Years Earlier.......2001-08-26

Usually, the sophomore effort of a group pales somewhat in comparison to the first; but Sounds of Blackness scored a coup by releasing one that is definitely an improvement over "The Evolution of Gospel." And that is a monumental achievement. The release, like its predecessor, mixes the old with the new. The selection of traditional spirituals ("Hold On," "Sun Up to Sundown") and a Billie Holiday classic ("Strange Fruit") complement the contemporary tracks. The latter are outstanding with great production and vocals from the talented singers. The Al Green-sounding "The Lord Will Make a Way" and the Curtis Mayfield-like "He Took Away All My Pain" are excellent testaments of faith. Poignancy reigns in the beautiful "A Place in My Heart, a mother's testimony with a passion-filled performance from Ann Nesby, and "A Very Special Love" with Billy Steele and Carrie Harrington sharing the lead. "The Harder They Are The Bigger They Fall" is a funk-driven selection featuring lead vocalist Jimmy Wright. "Black Butterfly," though not as memorable as the Deniece Williams' classic of the same name, is still a wonder to behold. All should hear the "sounds" of this underrated ensemble!

4 out of 5 stars Uplifting and upbeat.......2007-01-11

I don't know much about the Sounds of Blackness. I only knew one of their songs before buying this album i.e. 'I'm going all the way'. I bought the album based on the positive reviews they got from others. This is an upbeat, up tempo album from start to finish. I especially love 'Hold On'. 'I Believe'-makes me want to dance and 'Spirit' is slammin'-the Craig Mack element gives it a real hiphop feel and 'Black butterfly' is nice too. I'll definitely be listening to this album alot.

5 out of 5 stars Sounds of a People.......2006-12-14

I am very familiar with the "Sounds of Blackness". The "Sounds" are unique in that they cannot be pigeonholed into a particular musical genre (gospel vs. secular). I was a member of this group a number of years ago and still feel a kinship. Gary Hines, the director has been associated with the "Sounds" since its inception at Macalester College. The focus of the "Sounds" was and has always been uplifting music from the Black experience, be it "Steal Away" to "Satin Doll" to "Optimistic". In a nutshell, the "Sounds" are about the best music from the Black experience. For want of a better word, it is a history lesson portrayed musically! If you're in love with the "Sounds", this is a must have for your collection. This music is certainly anointed by God. In times like these, we can all use a message of hope!

5 out of 5 stars As Long As You Keep Your Head To The Sky... U Can Win!.......2006-06-17

Oh Boy....Sounds of Blackness had the grooves back in the day churning out gospel hit after gospel hit with the help of super producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Their biggest song, Optimistic, also one of the greatest songs ever recorded and one of my top five songs ever, is a masterpiece. With its positive vibe and sunny feeling you can enjoy this song anytime, anywhere, day or night, grumpy or happy. Optimistic is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. If it doesn't, you may need to check your pulse...seriously.

Their songs are so great and timeless. It's gospel music but it doesn't sound like gospel. It's hard to explain. But when you hear what they have to offer it's magical and amazing. The singing is beyond heavenly. Their best songs are OPTIMISTIC, I BELIEVE, EVERYTHING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT, LOVE WILL NEVER CHANGE, CHANGE IS COMIN, SOUL HOLIDAYS.

If you are a music fan than this should be in your collection because it brings all their greatest songs together on one cd without skipping over anything. 5 stars.

My husband and I played their entire "Time for Healing" CD at our wedding and I came down the aisle to "Love Will Never Change." Beautiful, awesome work! The best!

5 out of 5 stars the beautiful sounds of blackmess.......2006-02-12

i agree with cheyenne what made Sounds of Blackness unique was the fact they linked african culture to black modern gospel music.wich in my openion was ground breaking for modern gospel.especialy when it pretains to black gospel music.and like cheyenne said this is verry imporatant due to the fact alot of our music was preceeded by african music that was brought over here thru the slaves.and it turned into most modern urban music you heare today, especially gospel.not only that ann nesby's strong voice really drives this collection of music.especialy on soul holiday, and the much favored optimistic.

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant and inspirational.......2004-11-28

This is a brilliant collection of urban gospel music from the Sounds of Blackness. It is only fitting that the album start off with the powerfully uplifting track "Optimistic". I often listen to this track on the way to work every morning.

I also love The Pressure (I prefer the Part #2 version to Part #1). Your Wish is My Command is a song I enjoy listening to after I get through a rough day or a challenging week with so many responsibilities. It is my way of praising and thanking the Lord and offering myself to Him for redemption and forgiveness and His love.

Other tracks that stand out include "Stand", "Testify" and "Hallelujah Lord". If you enjoy other songs from the Sounds of Blackness or urban gospel music in general, you won't be disappointed with The Evolution of Gospel. Pick up a copy today and prepare to be lifted!

5 out of 5 stars The Greatest of the Group.......2003-07-25

If you are new to Sounds of Blackness, I recommend that you listen to "The Evolution of Gospel" first. I don't recommend it first just because it was their first recording, but because it is also jam-packed with a lot of their greatest hits. I am 100% positive that you will enjoy the entire recording from start to end. You will want to listen to "Optimistic" over and over and over again no matter what type of music you like. If you love party music, you'll probably want to listen to "The Pressure, Pt. 1". "The Pressure, Pt. 2" is a mellow version of the first part, but the lyrics are the same. You will also see that Sounds of Blackness loves "parts". In almost all of their recordings, there is a song with two or three parts. This album is an excellent representation of all of the different genres of African-American music, but don't think that this one is just for Black people. All races are welcome to listen to (and enjoy immensely) "Evolution of Gospel" and all recordings of Sounds of Blackness!

5 out of 5 stars Great Music with a Great Message.......2002-12-06

I first saw this group on ARSENIO HALL, the late night variety show in the vein of Johnny Carson, but hipper. I was blown away when I saw them. They performed Optimistic and it was amazing, hip, funky, contemporary and most of all relavent. The messages throughout the album reflect struggle and perserverance and ultimately success in the face of all obstacles. These messages appeal to all people not just African-Americans or Christians. The key to this album was a good grove throughout, polished basslines, and timely lyrics. If you like music from the nineties-hip-hop/pop then this album will fit in nicely. If you enjoy contemporary Christian Music then the messages are solid but the music is more urban in nature and may not appeal. If you love any type of good music then squeeze this into your collection-you'll be richly rewarded with a well crafted album that just happens to have something to say.

5 out of 5 stars you don't have to be Christian.......2002-01-13

I'm not even sure how I stumbled on this one a few years ago. But I have probably listened to the songs "Optimistic," "Testify," "The Pressure," and "He Holds the Future" hundreds of times by now. And though I'm not black, or Christian, these songs about being honorable, having hope, and appreciating what you have hit the right notes with me over & over.

5 out of 5 stars Influenced a Bevy of Current Gospel Stars.......2001-08-25

The debut album by Sounds of Blackness was like nothing else that preceded it. Deftly mixing gospel, urban sounds, traditional, and pop, the group managed to blend such diversity into a pleasurable whole. Under the direction of musical director Gary Hines and made under the masterly production team of Jam & Lewis, "The Evolution of Gospel" is a brilliant testament to faith, as well as the historical significance of the "spiritual sound" descended from African slaves. It is obvious that all musicians involved beamed as they performed the respective songs, thinking about the sacrifices made by their forefathers. The evocative "Chains" segues into the inspiring "Optimistic," the group's first hit single. The follow-up released single "The Pressure" is presented in two forms: the danceable "Part 1" and the reflective slowed-down "Part II." Both have the Jam and Lewis trademark sound. Another hit "Testify" is here, also, making the release filled with recognizable tunes. A remake of Sly & The Family Stone's "Stand" is remarkably rendered while the "Hallelujah, Lord" harkens back to the days of the renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers. "We Give Thanks" is sheer beauty. The remaining selections continue along the same lines with triumphant results. All the leads, chief among them Ann Bennet-Nesby, are outstanding. Without a doubt, Hines assembled some of the best singers and musicians in his ensemble. Regardless of one's religious inclinations, this is a must-have for the spirit, as well as the ear

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Best Sounds Of Blackness to date.......2005-11-18

Unity is by far the best album the Sounds of Blackness has ever put out. Every track is inspirational. The title track is uplifting and it's message resonating.

3 out of 5 stars Not what I expected after waiting so long!.......2005-09-28

I don't actually own this album but after viewing the track listing, I noticed that several tracks are songs that appear on past Sounds of Blackness albums. For example, 'Try' is a song that was the first single from their 'Reconciliation album that was released in 2000. 'Children of God' and 'Brighter Day' are both from 2002's 'Soul Symphony' album (which, in my opinion, is their most personal and inspiring album). Although they've reunited with Ann Nesby on the first two tracks, which are new songs, it's not enough to make me buy the album. Considering that their last album with all new material was released three years ago, I would expect more than a partially new album from Sounds...hopefully this latest release is something to keep their fans happy while they finish a brand new album. Peace and God Bless.

3 out of 5 stars Disappointing latest release from a FIVE-STAR group.......2005-09-25

As one that has purchased every album by the 40-member ensemble (and rated each with no less than four stars), I am disappointed with the new album, for it features only seven original tracks ("Unity," "Heaven," "Put the Finger on Me," "They That Wait," "Over My Head," "I'm Movin'," and "Life").

The other five tracks were featured on the two of the group's earlier efforts. While artists occasionally "recycle" one or two cuts, Sounds of Blackness sets a precedent with having so many on an album that doesn't tout itself as a "greatest hits" package.

This marketing strategy may work for those unfamiliar with Sounds of Blackness's body of work but it's rather disheartening, and insulting, to those of us that have followed, and praised, the group since its emergence in 1991 with the debut album "The Evolution of Gospel".

Even former lead singer Ann Nesby's appearance on the first two cuts is no cause for celebration for this mediocre offering.

'Love the cover, though!

Honestly dont want to knock any folks who generate good vibes and healing thoughtwaves.

5 out of 5 stars Eclectic Group.......2003-02-06

The Sounds of Blackness has always been an eclectic group. They originally started out as a choir from Macalester College. The group evolved into a community choir and into the group we all know and love. In the past, the "Sounds" performed many secular songs from the black experience (i.e., "Sir Duke", "God Bless The Child" as well as sacred songs such as "Jesus Christ is the Way" and "Steal Away"). So often, vocalists are pigeonholed into singing only certain styles of music. I, personally, sing the entire spectrum. However, the message must be good and the music melodious! In fact, I am a former member of the "Sounds," so I know of what I speak!

4 out of 5 stars Good CD, But Not As Good As The Others.......2002-06-08

Sounds of Blackness is well known for R&B/gospel hits such as "Optimistic" and "The Pressure" as well as many Negro spirituals. The group's first 2 CDs were the ones that brought them the most fame. In their third CD, "Time for Healing", they somewhat stray away from what they usually sing. It is possible to mistake them for a straight-out R&B group. There are great hits like "Hold On (Change is Coming)" which is my personal favorite. They also do remakes like "Love Train". I really wish that Ann Nesby was on this CD, but she decided to go solo. Oh well. That's how the music business is, I guess! Even though the group loses many great things that they had from the other CDs, it is still a great one, and I recommend it to any Sounds of Blackness fan.

4 out of 5 stars A Worthy Addition to the Group's Discography.......2001-08-30

Like the ensemble's three previous albums, "A Time for Healing" features uplifting grooves, a marvelous blend of old and new, brilliant instrumentation, and harmonies that truly are heavenly. Director Gary Hines and company expertly excel on cuts like "Hold On (Change Is Comin'"), a song that owes much to the music of the late Roger Troutman, "Love Will Never Change," a mellow and compassionate tune, "God Cares," a song that should be an anthem for the faithful, and the title cut. The more traditional offering, "We Are Gonna Make It Through," soars with majesty and power while the group "gets down" with remakes of the classics "Love Train" and "You Can Make It If You Try."
The best cut, however, is "So Far Away" which begins with an awesome trumpet solo and then jumps into a Calypso-flavored rhythm featuring a sample of the 60's hit "Girl from Ipanema." One can't stay seated when hearing this one.
Notably missing is Ann Nesby, soloist for many of the group's first successes, as well as the producing team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Hopefully, the trio will return for some future musical endeavors.

5 out of 5 stars Energizing, invigorating, rythmic and divine !.......2000-05-23

The text and rythems on this wonderful CD have inspired me time and time again to get up, move on and rise above and beyond my own limits. I really think this is what the artists wanted and that is exactly what they have acheived - at least with me! The text is deep, wise and loving, while the music is soothing on some numbers or invigorating like a sparkling, fresh shower on others.

I thank the artists behind this musical creation for working together to make a great CD.

gary taylor does a good job here but this work is not as good as his earlier music. I's not a square one or mood of midnight. on his early stuff every song is good. this is not the case here. something is lacking here. i really like his music buit this is not his best.

5 out of 5 stars Great!.......2006-11-09

This is Gary Taylor at his best. From the first track to the last the music and his singing is fantastic, especially the song "Lovin' My People". I highly recommend adding this one to your collection!

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding!.......2006-10-11

Gary Taylor always delivers extraordinary music!...His silky, soulful, smooth vocals are totally capitivating. This project exudes depth and quality throughout...lyrically mesmerizing! I highly recommend this one!

The legendary Jack Johnson, the first African-American heavyweight champion, is the subject of Ken Burns's 2005 PBS documentary, and Wynton Marsalis (a major figure in the filmmaker's 2000 miniseries, Ken Burns's Jazz) turns in a brilliant original score that captures the courage, chaos, and controversy of Johnson's racially charged feats and exploits. Compositions by Jelly Roll Morton and W.C. Handy augment the leader's quasi-Ellingtonian ragtime, blues, dirges, ballads, and stride selections. Also included are four previously released tracks, two from Mr. Jelly Lord and two from Reeltime, the Marsalis score made for (but ultimately not used in) the movie Rosewood. Of course, Marsalis is on his best trumpet behavior, and he shows a real and unacknowledged talent for writing in this idiom. --Eugene Holley, Jr.

4 out of 5 stars mostly a KNOCKOUT!.......2007-03-25

A few of the tracks are kind of difficult to really get into, but there's plenty of rich juicy stuff here, particularly the last track "We'll Meet Again Someday." Marsalis has composed a score that justly deserves to be joined with this truly amazing documentary on a truly amazing man and boxer.

3 out of 5 stars Period Pieces, Not Interpretation.......2006-08-30

With four previously released tracks and two outtakes from the Rosewood, one can casually dismiss the score to the excellent Ken Burns documentary as being unforgivable; a major artist should create - not recreate - music.

But the tracks work as period pieces that Burns obviously wanted. Please remember that Marsalis had worked with Burns previously on Ken Burns's Jazz miniseries and Burns obviously knew what he needed for Unforgivable Blackness.

I wish the liner notes included information penned by Marsalis on why he chose the tracks and how he felt each piece fit the mood in the specific part of the documentary. The purchaser is left with piecing together the "picture" of music with the screen.

While the Miles Davis soundtrack of nearly 40 years ago is vastly superior musically, Marsalis does capture the feel of American popular music in the early 20th century.

5 out of 5 stars Unbelievable Music.......2006-01-24

Wynton Marsalis' 'Unforgivable Blackness' is in its own class of scores that define a time and a place.I think this easily blows away the 'Jack Johnson' fusion take done by Miles Davis.Marsalis,
who wrote most of the score ,which also includes compositions by WC Handy and Jelly Roll Morton, combines an encyclopedic mind for "old"early 20th century classical jazz and makes it all sound "new".

3 out of 5 stars Wynton in his element.......2005-07-13

Wynton is a very talented musician whose ambitions lie primarily with social rather than musical issues. He wants to get jazz through the door of the big cultural institutions of America, like Lincoln Center, schools, museums, etc., to put jazz on an equal social footing with, I guess, "classical" music. That all commendable, but it seems that he and his buddies Crouch and Murray think the way to do this is to turn jazz into stone--develop a rigid, fixed notion of what it's supposed to be, the better to promote it for its "greatness" and "timelessness". They're promoting a marble statue called "jazz", and while this is fine it's part of a culture war and not a living art.

Wynton is really a music educator and curator. He's not a person who will advance the art, despite his musical talent. This soundtrack is perfect for him, since he decided some years back that he was going to try to revive Dixieland. It provides the appropriate predictable "period" color that Ken Burns is so fond of (during his "Civil War" film that lonesome-harmonica-by-the-campfire just never quit), but how could you listen to this as music?

I fully agree with a previous reviewer, the Miles Davis "Jack Johnson" soundtrack is a lot better, because it wasn't trying to be a period costume drama. It's kind of funny, Wynton has spent his entire career trashing Miles, it seems like this is a bit of a symbolic attempt by him to slay the father figure, but all he's created is some mildly interesting background music. Miles' "Jack Johnson" is still the champion!

4 out of 5 stars It is good.......again.......2005-02-25

This is fun music that takes you back in time. Back to..oh..the 1999 release "Reeltime". The soundtrack Wynton wrote for the movie "Rosewood" that was not used. Play track #1 on both albums "Rosewood" on "Reeltime" and "What Have You Done" on "Unforgivable Blackness"...notice a similarity. Try "Rattlesnake Tail Swing" on "Reeltime" and..um.."Rattlesnake Tail Swing" on "Unforgivable Blackness". By now I'm sure you get the point. The music is certainly given a different treatment on both albums but that doesn't change the fact that this music is not original to this soundtrack. I guess it has gotten to the point that Wynton and "his" are now repeating themselves. Noticeably missing from the liner notes are Stanley Crouch and his pontifications (which I actually enjoy), I guess he must have felt that he said it all the first time with "Reeltime". Musically this a very good album but I liked "Reeltime" better. What the hell be a fool and buy both...God knows I did.

5 out of 5 stars Don't You Ever Give Up!.......2004-12-02

I can't say enough about how much I love this album. The CD has been in my CD magazine since I bought it over a year ago.

Not only are the songs inspirational but the album lives up to its title "Soul Symphony". Take a listen to songs like "Real True Love", "Children of God", "Trouble is my Home" and the title track and enjoy not only the message in each song, but also the music! It is so reminiscent of 70's soul.

Their cover of Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" almost surpasses the original (I say "almost" because Mr. Clapton composed the tune so it belongs to him). I also love "Brighter Day" and "Don't You Ever Give Up" will make you smile and wanna dance!

I am a little biased as I am a faithful lover of Sounds of Blackness' music. I recommend it to soul and urban gospel music lovers alike. Enjoy it!

5 out of 5 stars 'Encompasses the vast spectrum of black music!.......2003-02-15

Not since 1996's "House of Music" from Tony! Toni! Tone' has an album covered the black sound in such a musically satisfying fashion. This is one production that pays homage to the past while adding rhythms and beats that can be appreciated by contemporary audiences. Much more eclectic than the group's last release, "Reconciliation", this "symphony" is a history lesson in African-American music from traditional slave songs to the bass-laden tracks of modern hip hop.

As one goes from cut to cut, the listener is taken to a place of consciousness and reflection, as well as nostalgic bliss, which only music can give. The songs, many written or co-written by group founder Gary Hines, are spiritually and morally uplifting.

The group's tradition of interspersing excerpts from historic spirituals continues in the form of four "sweet" suites.

The bulk of the album, however, shows the versatility of the group and the lead vocalists bear remarkable similarities to legendary greats of the industry. One thinks of Aretha or Natalie or even Jennifer Holiday when hearing the soulful cuts "Don't You Ever Give Up" or "Real True Love", both with group member Yulanda helming the lead. Shades of James Brown's "This is a Man's World" resonates in "Trouble is My Home". "Another Day" appears to be lifted from the R.Kelly songbook and does him proud. Stevie's influences can be felt in "Don't Give Up with leads Billy Steele, Yulanda (again), and Darius Ewing sounding extremely "WONDERful". Sly and the Family Stone are honored with "Children of God", a funk-driven track with a definite message for modern times.

However, two of the strongest cuts are remakes: the Pointer Sisters' "Yes We Can Can" and Eric Clapton's Grammy-winning "Tears in Heaven", the latter with a guest appearance from Ron Winans. "Tears", a classic in its original form, is given the full gospel treatment here and should become of the group's most requested concert tunes.

The Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences would be sorely in error should it avoid recognizing this album come NEXT year. "Soul Symphony" is, without a doubt, the BEST ALBUM of 2002, bar none.

5 out of 5 stars Great CD!.......2003-01-09

Another great CD from Sounds of Blackness. Run out and pick this up today! The single "Don't you ever give up" is one of the groups best ever.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Actually, it gets 3.5 stars!.......2003-02-16

Only about half of the songs on the group's fifth studio album are up to the group's standards ("Try", "Reconciliation", "Twenty Four & Back Again", "Rainbow", "Love Will change Things" and "Don't Be afraid to Dream"). The remaining songs, though enjoyable, lack the power and production values that one comes to expect from the multi-talented organization.

Thankfully, Sounds of Blackness rebounded with the recently released and much superior "Soul Symphony".

But, for fans, "Reconciliation" is still a necessary entry to the ever-developing and one-of-a-kind musical troupe.

5 out of 5 stars listen to this!.......2002-01-13

I don't know why I didn't hear about this CD over & over again. Although I think SOB are at their best when they sing about God, they are also quite beautiful when singing about love & friendship. "Twenty four & back again" is as solid an anthem to friendship as I've heard. (Don't you wish there were more of them?) It doesn't quite measure up in my mind to "Evolution of Gospel," but then, almost nothing I've heard does. Went to the MLK Day concert in Minneapolis just after this was released , and I have to say that if you like music that makes your eyes tear up, your body bounce from side to side, and your brain think, you need to get to one of their concerts!

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely Stunning!.......1999-12-01

Give me SOB anytime and I will thank you everytime. This lovely group has shown that they are a force to be reckon with in the music industry. Especially if one, as a Christian, born-again and spirit filled and loves good music wants to listen to music without necessarily listening to the filth on the street. This is IT! . From the second track to last (my favorite is the title track), the album is a must-listen to. Keep it up folks, even us folks down in Africa are solidly behind you.
