Nice tribute...but can't beat the original.......2006-02-25
I bought this CD to use as background music for dinner parties. As a long time fan of Barry Manilow's music, I have been used to hearing his interpretations of songs on the piano. This CD is a nice tribute, but the renditions seem slower in tempo and seem to drag. The selections are of Mr. Manilow's most well known hits which are not necessarily his compositions. I will still use it for dinner parties, but I'll have to mix in more lively tracks from other CDs. It can be a relaxing CD for nice long baths. Just don't play it while driving!
