About the Artist
ROGER DAVIDSON (piano) compositional work includes many pieces for mixed chorus including Missa Universalis I (Premiere Boston by Massa Sacra, Unispace (for choir, piano, organ and percussion) toured major cities as a benefit for UNICEF in 1987; Mandala, (finalist Composers' Competition of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra). In additional to Missa Universalis I - V, Davidson has recorded two tango albums: Mango Tango and Amor por el Tango, as well as an album of orchestral music with MMC Recordings; and an album of improvised music for various instruments entitled Ancient Voyage. Davidson is also President of the Foundation for Universal Sacred Music in Katonah, NY.

PAULO BRAGA (drums, percussion) Recognized as the innovative father of the Brazilian drumset, Paulo Braga is also renown for three decades of historical recordings and performances with Brazilian legends, including Antonio Carlos Jobim (tom jobim) with whom he toured and recorded for fifteen years [tom and edu lobo (1980); passarim 91987), including the Grammy Award winning "Antonio Brasileiro", (1994), as well as Elis Regina, Hermeto Pascoal, and Milton Nascimento with whom he toured and recorded for five years.

DAVID FINCK (bass) has accompanied a wide range of international artists including: Dizzy Gillespie, Phil Woods, Aretha Franklin, Joe Williams, Ivan Lins, André Previn, The Orchestra of Saint Lukes, Kenny Rankin, The Carnegie Hall Jazz Band, James Moody, Clark Terry, Gilberto Gil, and Roberta Flack.

David's discography also includes six recordings with jazz pianist Steven Kuhn, as well as The Empire Brass Quintet (Telarc 1987), Carly Simon (Arista 1997), Natalie Cole (Elektra 1996), Barry Manilow (Arista 1995), Peter, Paul, and Mary (Warner Brothers 1995), Rosemary Clooney (Concord 1991, 1992), Ivan Lins (Velas 1995), George Michael (Virgin 2000), Phil Woods (Chesky 1996), Lee Konitz (Venus 1995, 1996), and many others. Finck and Sir André Previn have also recorded three compact discs for Universal Music.
