AMG EXPERT REVIEW: Guitarist Gerry beaudoin makes a strong impression with this CD of easygoing swing with a few twists added. No slouch as a soloist, he is also happy to share the spotlight. The title track is a delightful foot-tapping original blues, with the leader trading licks with vetran guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli and clarinetist Billy Novick. Check out the very upbeat version of "ST.THOMAS," featuring matchless mandolin master David Grisman and sensitive percussion by Grover Mooney.
