Clarinetist Albert Nicholas followed Johnny Dodd into the King Oliver band, influenced the style of Barney Bigard, and was a member of the Louis Armstrong, Chick Webb and Luis Russell orchestras. He recorded with Sidney Bechet, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller and Baby Dodds. This was recorded in 1959 in Chicago with the Art Hodes' All Star Stompers.
