Very good "easy listening" music........2003-02-12
Although Frank Chacksfield was not as famous and widely recorded as Percy Faith, he was at least as good at presenting very listenable "easy listening" music. And he didn't have Percy Faith's tendency to over-arrange a lot of the songs he recorded. If you're a Percy Faith fan, or just like mellow music, please give Frank Chacksfield a try. I think you'll like what you hear. Chacksfield's recordings of Ebbtide and Terry's Theme from Limelight, contained on this CD, are especially good -- in fact, outstanding.
