Ruben Rada is one of the biggest references of Uruguayan music. Speaking of Uruguayan folk music without including Ruben Rada is like speaking of Uruguayan football without ever mentioning the national team's world cup championship of 1950. Ambassador of Candombe music per excellence, after many years of making CDs that didn't live up to the expectations of us, his fans, Rada makes a CD that has established itself as a winner. This song includes influences of Cuban music and the Afro-Uruguayan Candombe music with nice lyrics. You'll be guaranteed to dance with CHA CHA CHA MUCHACHA, MURIENDO DE PLENA, TURISMO CANDOMBERO... Also, Rada gets sentimental with songs like CUANDO TU NO ESTAS, ECHALE SAL A LA VIDA, and the last track of the CD. Overall, this is a nice CD to have in your collection.
