AMAZING! She is so much better live!.......2006-12-02
This CD rocks! This is Sarah Brightman on her Harem World Tour, and this performance was recorded at her stop in Las Vegas. The first two tracks, "Kama Surta" and "Harem Overture" debut from her newest album, entitled HAREM. The two tracks are connected, but in the actual Harem Tour, the full piece "Harem" is sung. If you go to www.youtube.com and type in "Harem Tour" in the Search Bar, you can see live videos. I would prefer that the album has placed "Harem" instead of these other two tracks. The third track, "It's A Beautiful Day", is from Madame Butterfly, written by Puccini. This version is Brightman's twist, which some more pop and some English. It's pretty cool. The fourth track on the album, "Dust in the Wind" is from EDEN, an amazing album. Track 5 is, "Who Wants to Live Forever", and it seems as though Brightman never creates a tour without putting this piece in it. It's a beautiful tribute to Queen's rendition. Track Six is "Anytime, Anywhere", also from EDEN. I'm not really into the Foreign Language - English songs, but this works very well, especially because she ends the song with the classical foreign language. The seventh track is Brightman's rendition of Dvorak's "Song to the Moon", or "La Luna". The track is beautiful! The eighth track is Puccini's "Nessun Dorma", and Sarah masters this beautifully! There is no other soprano I know that can sing this piece one octave up and can hold the ending note for ever!!! Track 9 is "The War is Over", which is followed by "Free", both from HAREM. Track 11 is "A Whiter Shade of Pale", from LA LUNA. It's beautiful to listen to. Sarah's version is very gentle, but has a lot of energy in the chorus. The twelfth track on this album is "Twisted Every Way", followed by an instrumental version of "The Phantom of the Opera" Theme. The next track is "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again", which is extended at the end, in which you hear some men cry out "WE LOVE YOU SARAH!", and she responds cutely with an, "I love you, too." The audience laughs! Track 14 is "Time to Say Goodbye", the duet that made Andrea Bocelli famous, and skyrocketed as the number one single sold in German history! The last live track on the album is "A Question of Honour", from "Fly", which is awesome! The last track on the album is a bonus track, which I don't really prefer. However, the whole album is simply amazing. I much prefer Sarah when she is live. She has a more magical quality! If you love Sarah Brightman, then you will love this album.
ALSO RECOMMENDED : Since there is so much Sarah Brightman to choose from, I also recommend EDEN, TIME TO SAY GOODBYE, LA LUNA, CLASSICS, and DIVA.

Inspiring, Beautiful and The Sweetest Voice!.......2005-08-21
What an album, absolutly beautiful!
We, the fans of this great artist finelly have in our hands a live album, and it's amazing:
-The voice is totaly live, she sang about 24 complete songs in the show, but the album only contains 15.
-Snow In The Sahara is a lovely song.
If you have the chase of get this alubum, don't doubt and get it; It wond disapoint you!
astounding performance.......2005-06-07
an impeccable concert experience that successfully elevates the album to majestic heights. I had long been a fan of Dead Can Dance and the unparalleled work of Lisa Gerrard. When Sarah Brightman ventured into these Middle Eastern sounds on the Harem disc, I thought it was too derivative of the Dead Can Dance sounds (there is even a sample used on one of SB's songs that had previously been used within DCD).
However, experiencing this epic and intensely mystical concert compelled me to realize the individual and unique glory of Sarah Brightman. Also, this concert is so phenomenally entertaining at many levels that I couldn't help but fall absolutely in love with the special magic of Sarah Brightman. Obviously, the expansive Middle Eastern milieu can accommodate more than one angelic vocalist!
I now consider Lisa Gerrard and Sarah Brightman to be geniuses who both warrant goddess status in the pantheon of lyrical greats. To see either one of them perform live is surely one of the most powerful and memorable sensory experiences one could ever have!
Great, of course.......2005-03-18
Sarah's voice and style are terrific, as usual. However, I have to say that her version of Anggun's "Snow on the Sahara" is fairly bland, especially compared to the original Anggun version. Sarah has the chops but lacks soul on this great song. Everything els here is very nice.

Album Description
Germany's Helloween are undeniably one of the most influential heavy metal bands to emerge from Europe during the 1980s. By taking the harmonies and structure of classic bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and infusing them with the urgency and energy of the growing thrash metal movement, Helloween created something unique and truly embody the essence of 'power metal'. The band remains a strong force today, as proven on this new double CD, Keeper Of The Seven Keys: The Legacy World Tour 2005-2006 Live on 3 Continents. Captured live in Sao Paulo, March 25th, 2006 during their latest global trek, this release is a must for any fan of fantastic Heavy Metal.
Customer Reviews:
great live album by a great band.......2007-04-04
This album sounds great, the song "the king for a 1000 years" its amazing live(yeah 13 minutes with 17 seconds) the track list is magnificent and no question why did they choose brazil, brazilian audience has a lot of energy, they make you feel there all through the album...good job helloween!
Excellent performance by an excellent band.......2007-03-01
Helloween has allways been a great melodic metal band; 1 year ago they released the "Keeper Legacy" album, in my opinion one of their best (if not their very best). This Live album couldn't come out in a better time; For those who like this band, you dont have to think about getting it. The performance was great, the sound quality simply terrific and the track selection almost perfect (excpet for some songs that you really come to miss). I had the chance to see one of the shows of this tour in Europe, and when I heard this for the first time, I almost thought that the guys were playing in front of me again. And dont miss the tracks of the past "Keeper" album performed by Andy Deris and with the sound quality of these days. A great experience for a metal fan. I seriously doubt that you can go wrong with this.
Amazing live album!!!.......2007-02-27
One of the best Live metal albums ever. Helloween are amazing, great set list, amazing sound, great vox a perfect concert!!! The energy from the crowd that this band draws is also unparalled.
Happy Happy Helloween oh oh oh oh.......2007-02-22
This album shows just how powerful Helloween sounds when they play live specially in front of an amazing crowd like Sao Paulo. If you close your eyes and listen to this record you can feel being part of the audience. One thing I dont like so much about this record, is that some songs are over 10 minutes , when they could easily could have chosen to play some shorter songs, but they decided to play mostly songs from the Keeper of the Keys albums. Best treat....I Want Out...just listen to the crowd!

Good Solid Live Effort.......2007-01-03
Schenker is on form on this album, and deserves the five stars. It amazes me how he can play such different styles live when he puts his mind to it. Thus, for example, this is very different in style from his most recent live record with Siggi Schwarz (surprisingly not featured on Amazon - a rare oversight), or from his live recording with UFO's 'Covenant'. It is tempting to compare everything with Strangers in the Night and say 'not as good'. However, take Love to Love, Lights Out, Rock Bottom, and This Kids out of SITN and you end up with a live album that is not as good as The Unforgiven World Tour Live. The latter is more consistently good than the former, even if the 4 tracks I've mentioned on the former are out of this world. The Unforgiven World Tour live is definitely one for the collection. Stick it on real loud in the car, and you'll see what I mean.
Good, but "Michael Schenker Story Live" is better.......2003-11-29
I haven't heard the new songs from the Unforgiven LP, but the other songs are better on Michael Schenker Story Live because vocalist Leif Sundin and Van Landing appear. The guy on this one cannot get the high notes and that is why several songs from "Written in the Sand" (a great album) are not included on this disc. This fellow sounds a bit like Phil Mogg, but is really not as good. He may be good for the brand new stuff, I don't know. I haven't heard it and the only thing I heard was that the new unforgiven studio cd is not that good. Get Schenker Story Live (even if you are sick of the old UFO tracks over and over again) for the new tunes off of Written in the Sand alone; you will not be disappointed. "Love Never Dies" and "Coming back to Life" are awesome guitar songs and also have well written lyrics. They almost sound better live than on the original studio version.
MSG, Michael live!.......2001-10-31
If you are a michael schenker freak, then this is the album for you! Michael covers his entire career here from Scorpions; Another piece of meat, to current MSG favorites. The UFO songs sound great with Michael, but UFO is UFO. Still, they burn. Michaels' playing is hot, sweaty, and at it's best here. I've been a Michael fan since I saw him for the first time in '77, and being a guitar player, I can appreciate the beauty of what he does and is. I don't care if Michael reaches 75 years old and grows a beer gut or whatever; Live-Unforgiven is MSG at their best!
A refreshing treat.......2000-05-17
This album is the real deal; only "Strangers in the Night" is a better live album. After so many, many mediocre releases from Michael, I can't say what a surprise this album was. In fact, it's as good as UFO's recent "Live in Wolverhampton" import is bad. Schenker wasn't this good on the G3 tour, that's for sure - and no other Schenker album has a mix of songs as good as this.
Grat first half, relevant work.......2000-02-29
The first cd of this two cd set is just amazing! The whole band is on and even goes into musical territory that rings more closely to fusion than heavy metal. The first half of the second cd is great with Kelly Keeling delivering a soulful performance. Great guitar work throughout, but the last half of the second cd didn't seem as inspired as the rest of the album. Overall though, a great record with Michael Schenker exploring new musical territory.

Album Description
In the summer of 1999, the Zamir Chorale of Boston celebrated its thirtieth anniversary as well as the centenary of the Zamir movement with a concert tour of Eastern Europe. Performances were given in synagogues and churches, concert halls and museums, restaurants and courtyards, cemeteries and concentration camps. In Warsaw, Lodz, Auschwitz, Krakow, Prague, Terezin and Vienna we gave honor to the dead and hope to the living. Our live concert recording, The Songs Live On, is a witness to the excitement and spiritual intensity of our odyssey. Zamir is very proud to present this unique recording comprising selections from our recent European tour. Recorded during live performances in Lodz, Vienna, Prage, Krakow, and Terezin, these songs celebrate the return of Zamir to the land of its birth. Ranging from liturgical settings to popular songs, spanning four centuries, and representing composers from seven countries, our tour repertoire demonstrated the breadth and quality of Jewish music for Jewish and non-Jewish audiences alike. The Songs Live On captures the energy of these live performances and the enthusiasm of both Zamir and our audiences. If you couldn't join us in Europe, this is your chance to share in the music.

More of a souvenir for the converted than an enticement to the uninitiated, Live Around the World is a double-disc dosage of Vital Information, the jazz-rock vehicle that former Journey drummer Steve Smith has cultivated since the early 1980s. Recorded in club-sized venues in Sydney, Toronto, Chicago, and Amsterdam, the group leans on jazz and traces of R&B as its principal benchmarks, bringing to mind an evolved, slightly edgier Chick Corea Elektric Band minus Eric Marienthal on saxophone--no surprise, really, given guitarist Frank Gambale's in both units.
The four-man Vital Information's selections are regularly sweetened by the Hammond B-3 and accordion of former Santana keyboardist Tom Coster (bassist Baron Browne rounds out the foursome, replacing Jeff Andrews). Coster, in fact, is the primary instrumental focus of many selections and even contributes a subdued accordion version of his Santana hit, "Europa." The group's clever take on Led Zeppelin's "Moby Dick" surfaces here as an energetic fingerpainting exercise by Browne (supplemented by a soulful Hammond rave-up by Coster) before the tune becomes recognizable in its final 45 seconds--without a single Bonhamesque workout on drums from Smith. Several selections are attractively performed ("Swamp Stomp" and "First Thing This Morning" are treats), though the group never fully catches fire (Gambale in particular) until the 15th track, "Over and Out," the closest the band gets to full-throttle fusion on this package. Interesting; not overpowering. --Terry Wood

3 & 1/2 stars for me.......2003-08-25
When this record came out I immediatly bought it without thinking it twice. I am a Jazz/fusion enthusiast so Vital Information is one of the bands in my map. The album has some strong points but also some weaknesses. I appreciate Gambale' s playing and the exceptional musicianship from all the guys. Coster is such a talent! His musicality is nothing less than amazing. But in the end this album is really not that much in my opinion. Apart from Europa (here in a splendid accordion version), twe two minor blues Mr P.C. (Coltrane) and the Jazzy Moby Dick (Led Zeppelin), Take eight and few other moments I'm not completly satisfied with the music. It's too flat. These guys can do a lot better than this in my opinion. Probably is the material that does not shine. Where we come from was not their best album for I am concerned and this live is almost completly based on that material. In the end this double live is a little disappointing. I still prefer Uzeb live '90 which in my opinion still eats this live in a single bite. Anyway sometimes I enjoy listen to this album but it's a little less than what I was expecting from such tremendously gifted players.
Just Listen To This.......2002-02-27
"Live Around The World We Come From" is a double CD that captures Steve Smith's Vital Information in concert. This is the second time that Vital Info has been recorded live and is the better of the two. The band performs all types of music: The Creole influenced "Swamp Stomp", the Jazz of Ornette Coleman's "Happy House", the atonal romp that is "Cranial Jam" are all a part of this eclectic mix. Some highlights from the first disc are a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Moby Dick". The center piece of this version is the Baron and not the drumming of Smith. The other members of the band follow Baron's bass lines and improvise over them. The end result is a very different sound than the one that Zeppelin originated. "First Thing This Morning" is another great tune and is one of Frank Gambale's best compostions. Frank has always been an amazing guitarist but this song demonstrates that he has made leaps in the composition side of being a complete musician. The song itself has a catchy melody and the band is brilliant throughout. The end of the piece has Baron and Steve improvising around the song's groove and is simply awesome. The second disc has a couple of show stoppers as well. "Over and Out " is a showcase for Mr. Gambale's impressive sweepicking technique and should amaze most guitarists. The often covered John Coltrane masterwork "Mr. P.C." is the last live song on the disc and also the most blistering. Tom Coster has an amazing hammond solo and Gambale picks up the baton and runs with it. The song then has Gambale, Coster and Smith trade fours until Steve Smith performs a jaw dropping drum solo that will knock some paintings off of your walls. Also incuded on these discs are a couple of studio songs that are also very good and may provide a hint of things to come. Vital Information is one of the, and to some the, best Fusion bands currently touring. Buy this and see why for yourself. Highly recommended.
it's almost like being there.............2000-10-09
this a wonderful reminder of seeing the band in lovely buffalo n.y. at the tralfamadore two marches ago or so. one of the things that makes this even better is the extra bonus studio cuts included within, soulful drums originally recorded by joe dukes on jack mcduffs screamin'. it's kind of an update and just as greasy, highly recommended. the other big highlight for me is steve's solo on mr.pc, a textbook of keeping the form and blowing over the changes. do yourself a favor and pick this one up, you'll be glad you did. then play it for a friend who also loves great music, he'll owe you one.....

Great Music Isn't Bound By Language As Zazie Proves It!.......2007-02-14
To my English-listening music colleagues, until I heard/watched Zazie on the screen of the store, I didn't know who this band/group was. Fortunately, their harmonies, lyrical flow, and arrangement caught my ear as I was initially paying attention to something else. Wow, I'm glad I heard them and listened.
Tout.Le.Monde, as I later learned, was the song that caught my attention. Eventually I heard the remaining songs on the CD and decided to buy it. For "Live" albums, Rodeo Tour: Live has the energy, music, and feel of an excellent album. I encourage anyone interested in listening to the Francise Variete genre to give this compact disc a try.
The CD can be listened from beginning to end without a bad song; however, my personal favorites are Tout.Le.Monde, Rodeo, Excuse.Moi, Oui, Cyber, and Larsen. Whether you're into French-languaged music, generic music lover, or looking for expanding your music listening pleasure, I encourage everyone to sample Zazie's Rodeo Tour: Live. I think you'll agree great music isn't bound by language.

Play those Funky Keys and Rock Us Out!.......2005-03-15
I can't recommend Merl Saunders or this live album enough for those who enjoy the fusion of funk, rock, and progressive coming through the piano, synthesizers, Hammond organ, and electric guitars. Merl, Melvin, and crew play extended jams longer than 10 minutes on Strugglin' Man, It's In the Air, Dark Star, Finders Keepers, Fire on the Mountain, and 19 minutes on Merl's Tune. And Melvin takes us to church with a killing Hammond B-3 on Whiter Shade of Pale. Total time for the two discs is 2 hours 11 minutes (2:11:02).
Merl Saunders: Piano & Synthesizer and Lead Vocals
Melvin Seals: Organ, Fender Rhodes and Lead Vocals
Michael Warren: Bass & Guitar
Tom Edwards: Lead Guitar
Dean Jenkins: Drums
