3 out of 5 stars Solid but not very exciting compositions.......2005-02-13

The musicianship is solid with some very good blowing by Jim Seely and Jed Levy. Seely's tone at times reminds me of Lee Morgan. There is a fine rhythm section and Arturo is always solid. Bottom line is this is a good recording but nothing really stands out. There isn't a tune that really grabs you.
