BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER.......2003-11-04

My husband went down to meet with one of Slim Man's employees in Baltimore City on Christmas Eve morning 4 years ago to get me this cd as well as the other 3 cds Slim Man had recorded prior to that time, just because I loved one song I heard him sing on the radio(Faith In Us). Since that day Slim Man cd's have held all the slots in my car cd player, plus we bought second copies for the house cd player.
Slim Man is The Man for music in this house. We have seen him several times at public preformances and continue to just be amazed at he and his bands talent. Buy them all, and if he comes to your town be sure to go see him.

No let down on this albumn. Slim Man has definitely done it again with another of his smooth flowing intoxicating albums. Jazzified captivates the listener with Slim Daddy's funky mixture of sing song bass and that sweet sexy saxophone. Every cut on this album mesmerizes the listener and keeps you swaying in a jazzy stupor. Mix in just the right touch of Slim Man vocals and you have another album that creates a low light atmosphere that most definitely sets the listeners up for an evening of smooth jazz and body warming lyrics. If you like SADE you'll love Slim Man.

This is one of my first Slim Man CD's - it made me a fan! I have my Jazzified signed by the Slim Man himself. He has the perfect voice for this 'romance-by-candlelight'music. He will take you away!! Wonderful music, lyrics & sentiment!!

BEFORE HE WAS BONA FIDE-D.......2002-10-31

The last solo effort by Slim Man before he and his band reorganized as BonaFide....A rarity these days, a male jazz vocalist with the power to carry an entire CD. I would describe his style as smooth and hip with one part Michael Franks (minus the sleepiness), a helping of Donald Fagen (except Slim Man CAN sing) and a dash of Boz Scaggs' coolness (need i say more).
Don't sleep on this CD...I first heard it on college radio in St. Louis and searched coast-to-coast until I found it in Atlanta. Well worth the effort.
