Like all TravelPros, the 2580CXA contains multiple communications and multimedia features in a tightly integrated, all-in-one notebook that meets all your needs on the road. The TravelPro 2580CXA gets its incredible speed from a fast K6-2 AMD processor. The K6-2 has established itself as a serious rival to Intel's Pentium II processor, offering comparable performance at a fraction of the cost. The K6-2 features both MMX instructions and its own 3DNow! technology, which accelerates 3D rendering in 3DNow!-optimized software. Large EDO DRAM comes installed in the TravelPro 2580CXA, and two SODIMM slots allow you to upgrade the memory. The notebook's huge IDE hard drive provides plenty of storage capacity for all your files and applications.
