Matured Nicely.......2007-07-02
In the third (and unfortunately final) season of Batman Beyond, the show's creators settle into a rhythm that's really reminiscent of their finer moments in the much heralded Batman: The Animated Series. Having followed the series from its debut episode right up until the final, I can state that the entire third season manages to feel very natural in terms of character interaction and setting mood. While not as unpredictable as the first season, the third was wise to put Maxine Gibson (from season 2) on the backburner. Terry is much more able to explore his own thoughts and feelings as the new Batman with Bruce to back him up when the going gets rough. Note: Max is still present in many episodes, but her role is a bit more subtle.
Unlike Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond doesn't run quite a tight rouge's gallery. There are some reoccurring villains (such as Inque, Blight, The Jokerz, etc.) but nothing like the staples found in the original Batman story-lines. The show's creators claim that while there never an official "canceling" of Batman Beyond, they were all approached with assignments that caused them to drift apart which explains why the final episode could be viewed as fairly anticlimactic. Fortunately, as a result, greats like Justice League and Unlimited would be born. Batman Beyond is a program that still holds up beautifully and brings an interesting take on an already wonderful franchise. My only complaint about the series is that it had to come to an end.
Episode Guide:
1) King's Ransom
2) Untouchable
3) Inqueling
4) Big Time
5) Out of the Past
6) Speak No Evil
7) The Call: Part I
8) The Call: Part II

13) Unmasked
Great.......2007-06-01
Watching these DVDs brought back so many memeories and reminded me why I like the DC universe. This was an excellent show and the DVDs are excellent as well. The animation and the storylines are so much better than the swill they're passing off now as cartoons
Quite what I wanted.......2007-05-16
Having pre-ordered this I had incredible expectations for this that were met incredibly well. This was my favorite show when it was on the WB and it is still alive and well in this box set. The commentaries, like most in the DC comics classics collection, were well done and not even close to underwhelming. For fans of the series, and anyone who cares about the DC Comics classics this is a must buy.
Great series.......2007-05-14
Batman Beyond has it all, great plot, graphics and MUSIC. Too bad they will not expand this series and creators have moved to more child-like series (Teen titans, etc).
disc one 4 stars disc 2 2 stars.......2007-05-14
minus one for no subtitles, but second disc - action scenes were bad and dialogue was terrble. See 1 skip 2.

Great entertainment.......2007-06-04
I have three kids, and two of them are Batman fanatics. They got a lot of viewing time from this set (and season one, as well). The graphics are good and the storylines are usually better than average for this genre. A good entertainment option.
Good, but less than seasons 1 & 3.......2007-05-27
Season 2 lacks some of the artistry found in season one, though it has inspired moments. "Earthmover" is a fantastic episode, and the music in "Sentries of the Last Cosmos" is awesome.
Only Slightly Less Impressive Than Its Predecessor.......2007-05-20
While others have stated (and quite correctly) that the second season of Batman Beyond pales in comparison to the superb first season set, the simple fact remains that Bruce Timm and company at their worst are till worlds better than most at their best. That said, season two is certainly a beautiful collection of the interesting worlds and characters that the first season built up so perfectly. The complaints typically come in two forms: The first is that we are treated to a much more intimate look into the high school life of Terry McGuiness. The second complaint is that Maxine Gibson enters the picture as a bit of a pseudo-sidekick.
While I fully agree that Maxine comes from left field, knows too much too quickly, and comes off as annoying in most instances, I will defend the show's creators in that they were wise not to make her a real sidekick (no costume, no gimmicks). The high school scenarios are far less painful than the former compliant and, in my opinion, actually do an admirable job of separating the Beyond series from the slightly darker/ more mature Batman: The Animated Series. While heading to class with Terry, we're treated to the foundation sagas of many of the show's staple villains but even more impressive, we're reminded of the responsibilities of being a teenage superhero.
In the DVD set extra "Inside Batman Beyond: The Panel" we discover that the network was responsible for requesting the additional high school environment and female lead character. All factors considering, the crew did a very respectable job in meeting the network's demands while keeping the core material faithful.
The four disc boxed set contains all of the original season two episodes and includes some very interesting extras to boot:
1. Splicers
2. Earth Mover
3. Joyride
4. Lost Soul
5. Hidden Agenda
6. Bloodsport
7. Once Burned
8. Hooked Up
9. Rats
10. Mind Games
11. Revenant
12. Babel
13. Terry's Friend Dates a Robot
14. Eyewitness
15. Final Cut
16. The Last Resort
17. Armory
18. Sneak Peek
19. The Eggbaby
20. Zeta
21. Plague
22. April Moon
23. Sentries of the Last Cosmos
24. Payback
25. Where's Terry?
26. Ace in the Hole
A must have for any fan of the DC Animated Universe.
I love this show!.......2007-05-16
This is one of my favorite cartoons of all time! I'm glad they released all of it finally! 26 episodes in this volume, all very good. The interviews with the creators are really good too. I definitely recommend this as well as seasons 1&3. Worth every penny.
Batman Beyond continues on!.......2007-02-20
Batman Beyond is a bright spot among superhero cartoons. Unfortunately, this second season isn't quite as good as the exceptional first season. Nonetheless, this is a great show, with top-noch animation and voice acting. If you've enjoyed the first season, defnitely pick this up. Batman Beyond is a fantastic show that anyone who likes cartoons and comics will enjoy.

Batman Beyond was the futuristic follow-up to the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series from the team of Paul Dini, Alan Burnett, Andrea Romano, and others (though less self-winking for comics fans than that series). High school kid Terry McGinnis's run-in with a biker gang called the Jokers leads to a chance encounter with a rich recluse named Bruce Wayne. McGinnis soon discovers that 20 years ago Wayne was Batman, but has since retired from active duty. Not getting any help from Wayne, McGinnis swipes the Bat suit--now tricked-up with enhanced strength, flight capability, and nifty gadgets--and sets out to right a wrong perpetrated by his father's former business partner, Derek Powers. Subsequent adventures in the 13-episode season deal with some teen hang-ups as well as supervillains, who are mostly new except for Bane and Mr. Freeze. Excellent voice work is by Will Friedle (McGinnis), Kevin Conroy (continuing his role from Batman: The Animated Series), Stockard Channing (as Commissioner Barbara Gordon), and guest stars including Star Trek's George Takei. --David Horiuchi
Customer Reviews:
Great return to the days of good Cartoons........2007-07-07
Batman Beyond (BB) was a great series that really was a little before it's time and not placed on the best channel. KidsWB really should've just handed this one over to Cartoon Network and allowed them to use this on their network. I believe they might have made BB a great longer lasting series than just 3 seasons.
The First Collection (Season) was great. They introduced the main storyline which is not like anything I thought would happen. The voices are great, the artwork is stunning, and Ace really does have the best animation out of any of the BB characters (Check the Special features and see the Behind Batman Beyond featurette).
The series moves really smooth, but does not have anything to do with the previous episodes. Would've made a great storyline to have it that way.
Other than that, great series, and I love watching this and remembering the days Saturday Morning cartoons were actually great for the action-oriented person. And I'm not talking the BS series, Teen Titans, THAT IS NOT ACTION!
Great entertainment.......2007-06-04
I have three kids, and two of them are Batman fanatics. They got a lot of viewing time from this set (and season two, as well). The graphics are good and the storylines are usually better than average for this genre. A good entertainment option.
Batman Beyond RULES!.......2007-05-17
Batman Beyond is by far the best of all of the Batman Incarnations. The animation, characters, music, and storlines are all top-notch. It is sophisticated enough to satisfy an adult, and yet still appeal to a kid. Well worth the investment.
Absolutely awesome.......2007-05-17
A total fan of anything that comes from Bruce Timm and company, Batman Beyond is the series that fills in the gap between the Batman/ Superman Animated Series and the later Justice League works. While some argue that nothing compares to the original Batman the Animated Series in terms of writing, textures, themes, and overall quality; Batman Beyond probably comes about as close as it gets.
Not only to we get an interesting interpretation of the future, we get the continuity of Kevin Conroy again playing the role of (the now 50 year older) Bruce Wayne. We also get the dynamic of Bruce's legend incarnated into a new, younger form. With that comes the balancing act of a typical high school student dealing with all of the difficulties associated with being a teen with the additional stresses of being a masked hero by night.
All of this and the quality packaging of the Warner Brothers boxed set which means extras to enjoy and an affordable price. Very strongly recommended.
Try Batman is dead........2007-05-13
The worst idea the WB idiots ever did. Give a teenage punk kid a Batman suit and make him the new Batman. I think this was made by and for internet geeks, because only internet geeks could watch it. Then again the WB is now run by internet geeks, so why expect anything less.?!

Some diehard Batfans have been slow to warm to the animated series Batman Beyond even though it was created by the same team responsible for the excellent Batman cartoon of the early '90s. The Dark Knight should be a brooding avenger in a noir-nightmare Gotham City, the purists argue, not some smart-aleck teen four decades in the future, with jet packs, invisibility shields, and other sci-fi gizmos loaned him by an elderly Bruce Wayne (voiced, excellently as always, by Kevin Conroy, his stony bass given a raspy hint of old age), now confined to hobbling about on a cane and monitoring his protégé's activities from the Batcave. Between its respectful reexamination of the "tortured hero" mythos and its sleek, anime-inspired look, this feature-length movie should go a long way toward quieting their complaints. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they've brought back the most legendary figure in the Rogues Gallery (voiced by Mark Hamill, deliciously deranged), but exactly how and why the Joker has managed to turn up 40 years after his last meeting with Batman still as youthful and diabolical as ever is explained not only logically but terrifyingly as well. The secret behind his arrival is perhaps the saddest, grimmest twist any purported "kids' show" has dared to attempt. (Parents may well want to preview this tape before screening it for the very young.) Once again, Warner Brothers' cartoon Batman has outshone all the live-action films, never allowing the thrilling action set pieces or flashes of wry humor to drown out the drama, even tragedy, of the all-too-human superheroes. --Bruce Reid

Batman Beyond finally shines!!.......2007-05-26
The Batman Beyond series was definately not as good as Batman TAS or The New Adventures of Batman. It wasn't that the idea wasn't good. It's just Terry isn't a Bruce Wayne and definately not the original Batman. Also the black and red with no cape does take some getting used to. But I do like some secrets that are revealed like Bruce and Babs relationship. Who woulda thought!? Anyway, when The Return of the Joker came out it was pure gold. The flashback to the good ol' days was great, although sad. Too bad for Tim. I definately recommend the Uncut version. It's definately as PG-13 as they warn. Talk about Murder anyone?? Torture?? Definately pick this one up. If you don't like Beyond, you'll definately like the Bruce/Babs/Tim/and Joker angle. Great Stuff.
Better!.......2007-05-15
It's like a totally diffrent movie from the original release.
The re-addition of the cut scenes makes it a much, much more powerful movie. It also makes a heck of a lot more sense this way that it did as the WB butchered version.
Very recomended even if you have the original release. If you don't, then this is the version you need to have.
Not your older brothers Batman, this is better.......2007-04-01
I relate the critics view of this series to the Transformers vs. Beast Wars crowd. That to be true to the source material the story has to be THE same with updated animation. I think that is wrong. This is a brilliant series, with this movie being the Pen-Ultimate. Sadly, the animation and story are so good, that everything that came in the season after, was just not as good. Although Batman Beyond's appearances in the later Justice League show is brilliant. This movie also has one of the darkest and twisted ends for one of our great heroe's that has to be seen to believed. Not since Batman "Death in the Family" from the comics, has innocence been this lost. Not for young viewers. Great movie.
Uncut Version information.......2007-03-28
I recently purchased the "Uncut Version" elsewhere, the cover of my copy looks like the one Amazon has pictured here. The ISBN for my copy is 1-4198-1383-8 and the UPC code number is 012569717251.
My case says "Full Length Movie" across the top (white lettering on blue.) There is no mention of it being uncut on the cover but the peel off plastic seal says "The Original, Uncut Version." The cover lists the running time as 76 minutes (not the 77 minute time listed on the 2002 release of the Uncut Version.)
The DVD itself has different information. It clearly states "The Original, Uncut Version" and says the film is Widescreen (unfortunately not anamorphic) with a running time of 77 minutes and a rating of PG-13. I haven't watched the whole film yet but did check how a certain someone dies and it is the by the "uncut" method.
Be Prepared - Be very Prepared........2007-02-20
I replaced my VHS copy of the movie with this one. I wasn't quite ready for the additional violence. I'm not going to ruin the plot by saying more.
I recommend this movie - it is very good - but it is not for children. I rate it PG 13.

It's difficult to imagine the people of Gotham City walking the streets without their Dark Knight to protect them. But in this animated Batman tale set in the not-too-distant future, Bruce Wayne (a.k.a. Batman) decides to call it quits and retire the Bat-suit. After Wayne retreats to his mansion to live the life of a hermit, Gotham is soon overrun by criminals and gangs with such catchy names as the Jokerz. In this hive of villainy lives a young man by the name of Terry McGinnis. Like Wayne, his father had been killed, leaving him traumatized and seeking revenge (all comparisons though, should end there). As luck would have it, he stumbles across the Wayne mansion and eventually the Batcave. Now an old dusty relic, the once proud Batcave lies dormant like a wax museum, displaying trophies of Batman's career. Among these artifacts is the latest-model augmented Bat-suit, boasting flying capabilities and enough power to make Superman look like a wimp. Naturally the exuberant Terry takes the suit and embarks upon a mission of revenge against the duplicitous antagonists responsible for his father's death.
This is by no means a run-of-the-mill take on the Dark Knight. Like Warner's Emmy Award-winning cartoon of Batman in the present day, the story and action is tight and well thought out. From the opening credits (which are eerily reminiscent of David Fincher's unsettling opening shots in Seven), you enter a world in need of a hero. Unlike the later live-action movies, Batman Beyond will strike a chord with fans of the DC comic. This world of Gotham is darker, edgier, and filled with detestable bad guys. No more puns, no more chumming up to the police, and no more letting up on the violence. This is a Batman for the future and one that will have you rooting every time he inflicts his dark sense of justice upon a wrongdoer. (Ages 11 and older) --Jeremy Storey

i like that thay have repackaged some of the movies i hope they repackage all of them to the keep case and release them all in season packages the like batman.
Not as good as the original BTAS, but still an enjoyable show .......2006-10-09
This is a good premier movie for "Batman Beyond" (known in Europe as "Batman of The Future"), starring Will Friedle as the new Batman (Terry McGinnis) and returning with Kevin Conroy (Batman from the original show) as old guy Bruce Wayne. Mr. Freeze (Michael Ansara) and Bane (Who never talks in his episode appearance) were the only remaining original bad guys until "Return of the Joker". The costume gallery in the Batcave (Original Batsuit, Robin's costume, Nightwing's costume, Batgirl's costume and the new Batsuit)
Bottom Line: A show that takes some getting used to.
totally BEYOND!.......2006-06-24
I can not express how much I love this DVD. I'm sure alot has been said about this DVD / Series. So I'll get to the point. This is NOT for kids, its totally a PG13 genre. On this DVD you get 2 things:
#1- 'The Movie' which is basically a full hour or so, to ease you into the new world and explaining of how the NEW Batman is reborn and takes you into a very cool emotional ride till the end.
#2: you get 4 episodes, eachone is about 25mins or so long, they are awesome, they introduce you to new villians and old villians in a NEW way.
This DVD is one of my favorites, even though I know the story of Batman Beyond almost word for word, I just can't get enough of it, the music is totally Head Banging to..and you will fall in the love with the characters.. the dialoge is never cheesy. its an action film first and for most, and an animation second.
This is must have for the new generation Batman lovers, screw the WB this is the real thing :D
Don't buy if you want/own season 1.......2006-05-06
Great DVD! Starts off the Batman Beyond series. The stories are interesting and though the style animation is not exactly new, but has the new and unique intersting twist of being staged in the future. They have done a great job with it.
ONE WARNING!!! If you want season one do not buy this! There are 13 episodes on season one and this DVD has 6 of them! This would get 5 stars if you were not able to get all of them on the season one DVD. I felt just a little ripped off.
The Legend Lives On!.......2005-09-02
In this future version of Gotham City, Bruce Wayne is an old man, long retired from being BatMan. Dick Grayson's fate is unknown (though its hinted in this series that he still lives), Babara Gordon is now the police Commissoner, her father James Gordon has passed on as has Alfred. Tim Drake, the second Robin, is AWOL (though we learn his fate later in BatMan Beyond: Return Of The Joker).
In a twist of fate, Terry McGinnes becomes the new Dark Knight with a reluctant Bruce Wayne as his mentor. This DVD features the premiere of this series as well as 4 additional episodes from the series.
BATMAN BEYOND (Pilot) - Bruce Wayne has been retired from being BatMan for over 20 years. In that time, his family company was bought out by crooked businessman Dereck Powers and Gotham is not what it once was. When Powers has a worker murdered to cover up one of his crooked dealings, Terry McGuiness (the worker's son) wants justice. Thus, through a series of events, he becomes the new BatMan to take down Powers.
GOLEM - A kid at Terry's high school becomes fed up with being bullied and uses a giant robot called The Golem to take revenge on those that bullied him.
WINNING EDGE - During a robbery, the new Batman discovers that one of the robbers is a kid at his high school. This mystery leads him down a trail that points to one of the original Batman's old enemies......BANE!
DEAD MAN'S HAND - The Royal Flush Gang returns to Gotham to loot and seek revenge on Batman......problem is, one of its members falls for him!
MELTDOWN - Still alive after 50 years, Mr. Freeze is given a new chance at life only to be duped into a dangerous experiment! Seeking revenge, he battles both Batman and a new enemy.....BLIGHT!
This DVD gives you a good introduction into the world of the new Batman as he battles new enemies plus updated versions of the original Batman's old enemies! I'd recommend this along with Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker!

Description
The greatest villain of all comes out of the past to threaten Batman, Bruce Wayne and all of Gotham City in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, the first feature-length Batman Beyond movie. The sleeker, deadlier and seemingly immortal Clown Prince of Crime is back with his own unique brand of havoc and mayhem. While trying to uncover the Joker's secrets, the new Batman, Terry McGinnis, discovers the greatest mystery in the life of the original Caped Crusader: What happened the night he fought the Joker for the last time. When Bruce Wayne is almost killed in one of the Joker's latest attacks, Batman vows to avenge his mentor and put the Joker to rest forever. Get ready for heart-stomping action, awesome adventure and amazing revelations in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.
Customer Reviews:

Should be five but..........2005-01-31
Man, I have to say that as a grown-up, I really liked this show. I felt alot of the episodes, especially the earlier ones were targeted towards the older crowd. If you knew your Batman mythos than there were hidden gems in each episode. So if I'm rambling about how much I liked this show than why did I give it 4 instead of 5 stars? Because there are only a few episodes. Where is the Season 1 box sets that we crave? Yes I bought this disk but I would prefer to by the season. Otherwise, if you need your Batman Beyond fix, buy the disk.
not quite right.......2004-04-06
Another reviewer states that the box set for Batman Beyond is probably coming so it might not be a great idea to buy this DVD. According to tvshowsondvd.com Warner Bros is planning to release all of the Batman Beyond episodes to DVD but most likely in the single disc six episode format (that would only mean about 6 more discs to cover all the episodes). More are due out later this year but details haven't been released. I wouldn't hold my breath for season sets, this might be as good as it gets.
Then again, none of the plans are set in stone.
Worthwhile for the price!.......2004-03-11
I gave this DVD 5 stars, although there's nary an extra or special feature to be found. It was a pleasant surprise to find 6 episodes on the disc, when I had a notion there was only four. Even without any features, this is a good buy for a Batman Beyond fan.
More Batman Beyond.......2004-03-08
I've been waiting for more Batman Beyond on DVD ever since they released the original movie disc years ago. Finally, WB is giving us more - not in season sets however, but in transfers of its old VHS tapes.
This disc contains two of the old VHS compilation tapes, "Tech Wars" and "Disappearing Inque", for a total of six episodes. The six episodes are: Heroes, Lost Soul, Splicers, Black Out, Disappearing Inque, and Shriek. While Heroes is a bit of a dud, the other five episodes are all great entertainment.
So is this disc worth a purchase? Well, it contains 6 episodes - 2 more than most of what WB's other animated Batman discs offer. It's also better than the other Batman Beyond compilation DVD recently released (School Dayz/Spellbound) which rehashes three episodes from the "Batman Beyond: The Movie" disc. HOWEVER, it appears that WB is dumping these compilation discs on us NOW to get all its VHS properties on DVD before starting on season sets. A box set of BTAS has been confirmed. Batman Beyond can't be too far behind, though it might still be a few years.
Batman Beyond's a great series, and 6 episodes is worth the price of the disc. If you can't wait for the box sets, then this disc has enough value to be worth a purchase.

Description
2 great titles on 1 DVD for the first time! 1st title: Batman Beyond: Spellbound contains 3 parts: 1) Spellbound: An Elusive villain called Spellbinder hypnotizes ordinary citizens into committing crimes for him. Batman must uncover Spellbinder's identity before more innocent victims fall under his spell. 2) A Touch of Curare: When a scimitar-wielding assassin named Curare is hired to kill Commissioner Barbara Gordon's husband, Batman feels compelled to help, even though Barbara insists that he stay out of police business. 3) Hooked Up: Batman has to come to Max's rescue when she becomes addicted to a virtual reality world that is controlled by Spellbinder. 2nd title: Batman Beyond: School Dayz contains 3 parts: As Terry takes up the mantle of the Dark Knight he finds the pressures of high school are to be just as demanding. 1) Golem: Imagine the kid who was always the butt of the joke having control of a machine 4 stories tall that can lift 27 tons. Then imagine him being cybernetically linked to that machine...2) The Winning Edge: The legacy of Bane comes back as the 'Super Venom' become popular with Hill High's star athletes. Can even the new Batman match a team of enhanced jocks? 3) Dead Man's Hand: The burden of having a dual identity wears heavily on Terry until he meets a girl named Melanie who seems to understand him. Unfortunately, she also has a hidden secret.

DON'T BUY THIS DVD!!!.......2005-03-11
It's an understatement that many of us feel ripped off by WB's attempt to unfairly empty our wallets. If we refuse to buy these horribly priced episode dvds and at the same time purchase the available box sets that are of value then we can make some headway. They are in the business of making $$$. Slowing their cash flow will force them to give us consumers' products we demand or risk losing our disposable income. Die-hard fans of this series and other series must convince every parent to withhold from purchasing these dvds until full seasons are made available.
Disappointing duplication of 3 episodes.......2004-04-17
Why Warner Bros. chose to link SPELLBOUND with SCHOOL DAYZ is a mystery, since all 3 episodes of SCHOOL DAYZ are on the BATMAN BEYOND MOVIE DVD. It would have made more sense to have linked SPELLBOUND with CRUSH, since that VHS volume has still yet to make its DVD debut, now that DISAPPEARING INQUE and TECH WARS have been paired up for DVD. Since most people who buy this will have probably purchased the BATMAN BEYOND MOVIE, they already own half of this DVD. While it's nice to get 6 episodes on the DVD (unlike the usual 3 or 4 of JLA or animated BATMAN), there are no extras. The only explanation as to why we are getting SCHOOL DAYZ on DVD yet again instead of CRUSH seems to be that Warner Bros. are unfamiliar with their own product.
only half satisfied.......2004-03-28
I think its wonderful that Warner Bros has decided to release on DVD School Dayz/Spellbound and Tech Wars/Disappearing Inque to each contain 6 episodes and priced with a reasonable price. However, I am extremely disapointed at the fact that the first 3 episodes of School Dayz/Spellbound HAVE ALREADY BEEN RELEASED as the "bonus episodes" in the Batman Beyond Movie DVD. This is irritating the heck out of me. I was so looking forward to 6 wonderful episodes I do not yet own, only to get 3 new episodes.
BUYER BEWARE OF WB MARKETING GENIUSES!.......2004-03-07
I loved this series, and was always disappointed when they were pre-empted by "Pokemon". "Batman Beyond" is for adults, and perhaps that is why the WB is marketing "Justice League" differently.
For some reason, the geniuses in the WB marketing department think that consumers will be more inclined to buy "features" instead of episodic cartoons. PLEASE NOTE that there are 6 episodes of the cartoon on this dvd, not two features, and that several of these episodes were previously released on the "Batman Beyond: The Movie" dvd..
Darwyn Cooke is GAWD. Check out "dc: the new frontier".
6 episodes - a good deal for the price.......2004-03-05
For the sake of clarification, the two "titles" on this DVD (School Daze and Spellbound) were previously released separately on video, and are combined together on one DVD. Each video contained 3 episodes of the original Batman Beyond show. As such, this DVD contains 6 episodes : SPELLBOUND / HOOKED UP / A TOUCH OF CURARE / GOLEM / THE WINNING EDGE / DEAD MAN'S HAND.
I think this DVD is aimed at two audiences - as a low priced DVD for the kids, as well as for adults who enjoyed the show. I personally would prefer a box set containing every episode, but how many parents would buy that for their kids? Putting the episodes out this way gets both audiences to buy the DVD.
This disc contains no extras, but there is a "play all" feature.
Picture looks great, but no subtitles, and only one audio choice. Still, I give it 4 stars as I feel 6 episodes for the low price is fair.
