This vigorously entertaining film, sharply directed by Robert Redford from Paul Attanasio's brilliant screenplay, is based on the game-show scandals of the 1950s, when TV quiz shows were rigged to attract higher ratings and lucrative sponsorships. The fact-based story focuses on the quiz show Twenty-One and popular contestant Charles Van Doren (Ralph Fiennes), a charming, well-bred intellectual who agreed to win the game by using answers supplied by the show's producers. This unfair advantage turned Van Doren into a prototypical media darling at the expense of reigning Twenty-One champion Herbie Stempel (John Turturro, in a bravura performance), a working-class Jewish contestant who, according to the show's sponsors, had worn out his welcome in the public eye. When a congressional investigator (Rob Morrow) catches on to the scam and Stempel blows the whistle on this backstage manipulation, Quiz Show becomes a smart, political exposé about the first generation of television, the corrupting effect of celebrity and success, and the ongoing loss of innocence in American society. Bristling with superior dialogue and energized by an excellent cast including Paul Scofield as Van Doren's morally upstanding father, Quiz Show succeeds as history lesson, intelligent thriller, and morality tale, setting the stage for the countless scandals that would follow in a nation addicted to television. --Jeff Shannon
Description
Academy Award(R)-winner Robert Redford's (1981, Best Director, ORIDINARY PEOPLE) critically acclaimed triumph, QUIZ SHOW, was cheered as one of the year's 10 best films by more than 80 critics nationwide. It's an exciting look behind the scenes at the thrills and high-stakes competition of TV's hottest big-money game show! But fame and fortune become a hotbed of scandal when a Washington investigator (Rob Morrow -- NORTHERN EXPOSURE) uncovers corruption beneath the quiz show's glittering facade. The scandal implicates both the wildly popular champion (Ralph Fiennes -- 1996 Academy Award(R) Best Actor nominee, THE ENGLISH PATIENT) and the disgruntled ex-champ (John Turturro, O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU?). A powerful story with unforgettable performances -- don't miss this suspense-filled hit!

Mass Deception.......2007-04-17
This is a great film--the acting, writing, and directing are superb. Especially noteworthy was John Turturo--his performance was great! The others were also excellent. The story was believable and it developed at a nice pace. My only regret was that at times it slowed down considerably and unnecessarily, making the movie longer than necessary, especially in all the trivia scenes which were meant to increase audience believability in the characters. And yes, the characters were real, many dimensional, and this was nicely portrayed throughout. I highly reccommend this film, well worth seeing many times.
American cynicism regarding its institutions is born.......2007-03-03
This has always been one of my favorite movies. I generally have to be "in the mood" for a particular film, but I will always sit down and watch this one. It seems strange today in this post-Watergate era to believe it could have been considered scandalous at one time for quiz shows to be rigged. For that matter, today, I doubt many people would be surprised if you told them the Congressional hearings on the quiz shows were rigged. That is the level to which our cynicism has progressed. At any rate, this film excels on many levels. To begin with, the cast and performances are just excellent. Turturro excels as the completely unlikeable walking encyclopedia, Herb Stempel. He so badly wants to be admired and successful, but he is just SO unlikeable he doesn't realize that he IS unlikeable. His long-suffering wife played by Johann Carlo sees Herb's every flaw yet loves him anyway. In this he is truly lucky, but he just doesn't see it. Besides his Jewish heritage, Stempel seems to have cluelessness in common with Robert Morrow's Richard Goodwin. Goodwin's character is center stage throughout this movie, and he is played as an exceedingly complex character. First in his class at Harvard, he has brains but lacks the worldliness to see from the beginning that corporate America's Goliath will never be taken down by his version of David and his sling shot of a subpoena. Long before Big Pharma got so big, the fix was already in.
In this sense, Goodwin is the personification of the wide-eyed idealist. He still believes if you just present the truth to the public the correct outcome is inevitable. Finally you have Ralph Fiennes as Charles Van Dorn, possibly the most tragic figure in all of this. He goes in to try out for one of NBC's quiz shows with the best of intentions, and ultimately trades his integrity for fame and fortune, although reluctantly at first. Van Dorn at first enjoys the attention and the money, but when Goodwin shows up at his door with a host of questions about the honesty of the quiz shows he seems to reawaken Van Dorn's conscience, and he slowly disintegrates into a pile of nerves who even goes out of his way to avoid the host of admirers he once welcomed. He seems relieved to indict himself before Congress and the nation, but pays a heavy price for his confession. Rounding out the cast is the excellent Paul Scofield as Mark Van Dorn, Charles' father. He is another wide-eyed idealist, and a tall shadow in which Charles has had to dwell until "21" comes along. The master stroke in this film is the cameo by Martin Scorsese as Martin Rittenhome, an executive with Geritol, the sponsor of "21". His short conversation with Richard Goodwin pretty much lays out the ugly truth of the situation - People do tune in to watch the money, and the same end could be accomplished by merely making the questions easier. He also mentions that the public has a short memory but corporations do not, and is thus confident that the NBC employees who rigged the show will never implicate anyone higher than themselves at any hearing. This fictional composite character is right at every turn, and the dishonored NBC employees even return to TV in the 60's with an even bigger hit - "The Joker's Wild" - something that would have never happened if they hadn't been willing to be the fall guys.
In short, I highly recommend this film. You'll probably get something further out of it each time you watch it.
BEST FILM OF 1994!!!!!!!.......2006-11-29
This is the best film of 1994. I rank it slightly ahead of Shawshank Redemption. It deserves a deluxe DVD!!!!!!!
A little bit of fact with a little bit of fiction..........2006-07-08
These days nobody seems to care about rigged television shows. After all, the obvious contrivances that networks parade before us year after year result in little more than incredulous shrugs from viewers. A few hours watching daytime talk shows or professional wrestling will expose just how much some people enjoy being fooled for entertainment's sake. On the programming side, behind the camera, far too much remains at stake to let the chips fall where they may. Programs must provide rapid fire entertainment to attract viewers and advertisers and reality rarely delivers the jaw-dropping drama needed to keep audiences transfixed. Creating such tension usually entails some form of premeditation or scripting. Television producers came to this realization very early.
The producers of the very popular quiz show "Twenty One", which ran from 1956 to 1958, apparently subscribed to these views. Following its first unchoreographed and uninspired episode, the sponsor communicated its great displeasure to the producers, and the decision was made to rig the show. Following that, contestants essentially became actors who were completely outfitted and rehearsed. Herbert Stempel appeared and won a string of victories that approached $100,000 in winnings. The movie "Quiz Show" begins at this point. The show's producers then decided to bring in a more clean cut and "proper" contestant to win over the hearts of Americans (not to mention their sponsor), and they found this person in Charles Van Doren. But a defiant Stempel, feeling cheated, moved to expose the show. A government attorney, Rob Morrow, convinced his superiors to allow him to investigate the quiz shows. Eventually the whole issue came before a congressional hearing. Such a scandal seems unlikely today. But the bygone audience for the new, and presumably innocent, medium of television felt betrayed. The genre of the quiz show was almost obliterated by these scandals.
"Quiz Show", a dramatization of these scandals, manages to attain a high level of drama without resorting to violence or sex. Pure character development moves the story along. Herb Stempel, played brilliantly by John Turtorro, evolves from a confident but arrogant winner into a bitter and reckless fall guy. As the network continues to make him empty promises (which involve his return to television), his bitterness turns to feelings of vengeance. Charles Van Doren, played by Ralph Fiennes, nonchalantly traipses into the promises of fame and fortune the producers feed him. In the end he confesses and pays a heavy price.
Though "Quiz Show" makes for great cinema, it shouldn't be confused for a documentary. The film has come under fire for many historical innaccuracies, and some have accused it of following in the deceptive footsteps of the quiz shows themselves. For one, Dick Goodwin, played by Rob Morrow, did not play a central role in the original investigations as depicted in the film. And the actual timing of the historical events, along with how Herb Stempel lost (he did "take a dive" on the question about "Marty" but he ultimately lost when Van Doren "stopped the game" in the show's second round) gets a little skewed. Not to mention that many of the details behind what occured between the sponsors of "Twenty One", portrayed by Martin Scorsese, and the show's producers, is lost to history. So the producers of this film paradoxically found themselves in the same position as the original producers of "Twenty One". They needed to make a dramatic film and had to bend the facts here and there to "make it work". This dilemma frequently occurs in filmmaking that involves historical dramatization.
Regardless, none of these criticisms detract from the film's raw power. "Quiz Show" strives to make a point by fictionalizing certain aspects of fact. Arguably, it is less about the historical events of the quiz show scandals of the 1950s and more about the power of television to deceive. It also presents a theory about how deceptions get propogated up the ranks, who ultimately takes the fall for them, and the effect such events have on the public. This point gets driven home when Dick Goodwin says "Television is gonna get us". He means all of us, the public, not just the characters in the movie. "Quiz Show" aims higher than a mere docu-drama of a fifty year old scandal. It tries to make us see the connections between those events and how we experience television in the present tense. Which explains why it doesn't follow the historical facts to the letter. The filmmakers had a bigger picture in mind, and to get that vision across they had to play with the story.
"Quiz Show" is, in the end, a great movie that invites reflection on a medium that has come to dominate our lives. Not only that, it points out that studio heads have a lot of power, and that human beings in positions of power can succumb to corruption, even in the seemingly innocent medium of television.
Mass deception from the NBC television network.......2006-03-29
Producers of the TV quiz show, Twenty One (1956-58), didn't seem to care how many contestants they corrupted as they pursued their goal to get the highest ratings possible. How could Twenty One beat I Love Lucy in the ratings anyway? The producer wanted contestant Herb Stempel to lose to Charles Van Doren in a way that was humiliating for Stempel. Then, Van Doren flew high in the national spotlight from his appearances on the show but what happened to him later was another question.
The president of NBC, the producers from Twenty One, and the advertising man for Geritol, didn't seem to give a tinker's dam that they were perpetrating one of the biggest frauds on the American people.

Jeopardy has fascinated American quiz show fans since 1984 and this collection showcases five of the most memorable Jeopardy episodes. More intriguing than the episodes themselves, however, are the in-depth bonus features that focus on the game's history and inner workings. The first Jeopardy episode hosted by Alex Trebek in 1984 provides a look at a game with a somewhat different set of rules based on the then innovative idea of providing contestants with answers rather than questions. Contestant Ken Jennings' 74-game winning streak culminates in "Ken's 75th" losing episode and showcases this champion's amazing intellect, his grace in defeat and the audience's appreciation of him as a contestant. In the trio of "Ultimate" Jeopardy episodes, the game's three biggest champions Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and Jerome Vered face off in Jeopardy's three most difficult matches. "21 years of Questions and Answers," hosted by Merv Griffin and Alex Trebek, follows the game from its inception in the 1960's as "What's the Question" through the many milestones and changes that have marked Jeopardy's evolution throughout the years. "Behind the Answers" features commentary by senior producer Gary Johnson, director Kevin McCarthy, executive producer Harry Friedman, and host Alex Trebek, and follows ideas from inception through final production, detailing the immense amount of research devoted to each Jeopardy question. "What Does it Take to Get a Clue?" highlights some of Jeopardy's most memorable contestants including Ken Jennings (74 consecutive wins), Frank Spangenberg (5 time champion in 1990) and Eddie Timanus (Jeopardy's first blind contestant in 1999) and describes the qualities inherent in a great Jeopardy contestant. Finally, the multi-camera option follows an episode through five separate camera angles giving viewers access to the control booth, Alex Trebek's screen and podium, and multiple angles of the contestants and game board. --Tami Horiuchi

JEOPARDY!.......2007-01-15
I love Jeopardy! and the host Alex Trebek and Jeopardy! is one of my all-time favorite shows and some evenings when you are eating Salt and Vinegar chips and are hanging out with a friend of yours, you and him have to watch those old-time and new Jeopardy! episodes and they are the best and you'll notice in the first Jeopardy! Alex Trebek is a lot younger there in 1984.
Jeopardy! Jeopardy! What a great DVD you can watch in the car someday if there is a DVD player in your vehicle and during the drive, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy JEOPARDY!
For an example, you'll be as close to Jeopardy! without watching baseball or a rodeo without putting a piggin' string between your teeth or a buck rein between your fingers. Remember folks, take a deep seat during a drive, hit the play button of all episodes and let 'er buck!
This DVD is never going out of print and will never be available which I know as it'll be available forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and they'll just keep making more copies of Jeopardy! for other people to buy and they'll always love it. Don't let this DVD be unavailable someday, because that might break someone's heart and they would sure miss it.
OK, don't think about that now, just go onto something different to relax like here's a good one for you. Well, we do things like this. Let's imagine this balloon and this is an uranium atom. We take the atom, and we shoot it with a neutron. BANG! In Paul sakes, vibrates, and splits it into two seperate atoms in a rafter and it gives us energy. Do you think that is very funny! That is in the first episode in 1984 and that's what the contestant Greg Hopkins said.
1987 marked the first teen tournament. Since then, the teen tournament has gone on to provide us with some of our most memorable contestants like Eric Newhouse.
So then, the episodes on this DVD are:
#1: Episode #1: September 17, 1984 -? Season One
Contestants: Greg Hopkins vs. Lois Feinstein vs. Frank Selibas
First Episode of Jeopardy
#2: Episode #4657: November 30, 2004 -? Season Twenty-One
Contestants: Ken Jennings vs. Nancy Zerg vs. David Hankins
Ken Jennings 75th and Final Episode
#3: Episode #4783, May 23, 2005 -? Season Twenty-One
Ultimate Tournament of Champions Finals -? Day 1
Contestants: Jerome Vered vs. Brad Rutter vs. Ken Jennings
#4: Episode #4784, May 24, 2005 - Season Twenty-One
Ultimate Tournament of Champions Finals ?- Day 2
Contestants: Jerome Vered vs. Brad Rutter vs. Ken Jennings
#5: Episode #4785, May 25, 2005 -? Season Twenty-One
Ultimate Tournament of Champions Finals ? Day 3 [FINAL DAY]
Contestants: Jerome Vered vs. Brad Rutter vs. Ken Jennings
Those are the favorite episodes of Jeopardy! and Ken Jennings is a real smart guy for the 75 days he's been on and what a lot of money he won and he was a really smart guy that Ken Jennings and the pretty girl on there was Nancy Zerg and she reminds me a lot like Judy McCarron (Jerome's husband) because I think it's Nancy's face that looks like Judy McCarron. JEOPARDY! kind of puts you in mind of some of the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada and some baseball but, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Wheel of Fortune are also one of my best favorite game shows and my favorite soap operas are All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital and they are the best ever to watch.
Episodes are:
1. Jeopardy's 1st episode hosted by Alex Trebek in 1984
2. Ken Jennings's 75th loosing episode
3. ULTIMATE I: Anyone's Game, Ultimate Finals
4. ULTIMATE II: Brad Takes Control, Ultimate Finals
5. ULTIMATE III: The Final Showdown, Ultimate Finals
The contestants on this DVD are the best and they are in 1984 are Frank Selibas, Lois Feinstein and Greg Hopkins, and in 2004 are David Hankins, Nancy Zerg and Ken Jennings and in 2005 in the Ultimate Finals are Jerome Vered, Brad Rutter and Ken Jennings.
Jerome Vered looks a lot like Rick MacCuish, Brad Rutter looks a lot like Mike Moorehouse and Ken Jennings looks a lot like John Kerr and there's a couple of contestants look like some guys I know and that is so amazing that JEOPARDY! is the best and wonderful.
So, Jeopardy's 1st in 1984 looks simular to the 1987 National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada when Lane Frost was the 1987 world champion Bull Rider and then, 1987 marked the first teen tournament. Since then, the teen tournament has gone on to provide us with some of our most memorable contestants like Eric Newhouse. So the Jeopardy's 1st episode hosted by Alex Trebek looks just simular to the 1987 NFR in Las Vegas, Nevada when Frank Selibas would be the left-handed calf roper James Zant, Lois Feinstein woulbe be the barrel racer Deb Mohon, and Greg Hopkins would be the steer Wrestler Sam Duvall and 1987 was such a special year and 1987 is perfect for the years of the three Black Beauty books including the ones illustrated by William Geldart, Lucy Corvino and adapted by Lisa Church and illustrated by Libby Turner published by Brimax in 1985 and 1987 was a special year because, 1987 marked the first teen tournament. Since then, the teen tournament has gone on to provide us with some of our most memorable contestants like Eric Newhouse.
Eric Newhouse would be the calf roper Dave P. Smith, the 1988 NFR qualifier.
So Ken's 75th looks just simular to the 2005 Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas, Nevada when Ken Jennings would be the 2005 world champion All-Around Cowboy Ryan Jarrett, Nancy Zerg as the 2005 world champion Barrel Racer Kelly Kaminski and David Hankins as the 2005 world champion steer wrestler Lee Graves and 2005 which would be part with in 2003 as well too were two very special years and but just December only in 2003 and 2005 was perfect for the year of one Black Beauty book including the one illustrated by Neil Reed published by Prospero books in 2001 and 2003 with part in 2005 were two perfect years.
So the Ultimate Finals of ULTIMATE I: ANYONE'S GAME, ULTIMATE 2: BRAD TAKES CONTROL & ULTIMATE III: THE FINALS SHOWDOWN will for sure look simular to the 2006 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada and can't wait to buy the 2006 Wrangler NFR on DVD next year but, no time to think about that yet, but Ken Jennings is the very, very best.
But for the real cowboy lifestyle in other places for someone, they ought to enjoy Black Beauty books including ones illustrated by Libby Turner published by Brimax in 1985, illustrated by William Geldart, illustrated by Neil Reid published by Prospero books in 2001, illustrated by Scott McKowen, adapted by Lisa Church and illustrated by Lucy Corvino, adapted by June Brigman and Roy Richardson and that would probably be the perfect best ones just for the Jeopardy! life style by covering the years of the few best favorites of 1987, 2003, 2005 and 2006 only just for the Jeopardy! episodes and 1987, 2003, 2005 and 2006 are the only best National Finals Rodeo ones to ever see including the best years of the NFR in 1987, 2003, 2005 and 2006 are the best four perfect years for the Jeopardy's best like example for the best cowboy to keep and have.
1. 1987 National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada
2. 2003 & 2005 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada
3-5. 2006 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada
That's all the perfect baseball with the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada for JEOPARDY! with the rodeo contestants like James Zant, Deb Mohon, Sam Duvall, Ryan Jarrett, Kelly Kaminski and Lee Graves, but not sure who the contestants are for the NFR this year in 2006, but will find out until December but, the first two halves are OK.
When they had 30 seconds in the Final Jeopardy, the music was beautiful as they were thinking by writing down there answers and in the second half of it, it kind of reminded you of the $500,000 question in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire because of the music in the $500,00 question during the second sound in Jeopardy in the 30 seconds!
Here's a great example for Final Jeopardy and the category is Holidays and the question is:
The third Monday of January starting in 1986. The answer is Martin Luther King day.
So, since I love All My Children, I have a little bit of a Louie Greco story and that it is almost simular to the old western movies on television where Indian women and children are being shot and here is a great story:
The terrible grab
Noah & Taylor talk. Julia witing to testify against Louie Greco. Louie confronts and threatens Julia. Tad & Dixie talk. Brook, Haley & Alex talk. Gloria in hospital because she lost her baby. Adam is taking care of her. Tad & Dixie talk about Tad firing an employee. Joe Martin walks in and says Adam is with Gloria. They all run to Gloria. Gloria tells everyone she asked Adam to come and take her home with him. Noah & Taylor talk about Julia testifying. Noah tells Taylor Julia's family thinks he got her pregnant. Not because she was grabbed. Julia is scared of Louie. Julia tells Louie she is still going to testify. Louie grabs her and says next time it win't be fun and games like it was last time. Louie lets her go. Then they talk more. Julia says he grabbed her. He says she doesn't remember and needs a reminder. Louie starts kissing and touching her. Gloria explains she and Adam both lost a child. Louie made Julia's life a living heck. Then, a guard opens the door of the garage and Noah sees Greco on Julia and throws him off of her when Louie hits the garbage can when they all start a good bullfight in the garage until the attorney falls on his left leg. Then they all start to laugh out loud at the violence and when Noah sees Louie run outside and brandishes his gun, Noah fights back. Louie stumbles backward and falls hitting his head on the steel beam, dying from the resulting injuries. Greco's attorney leaves. They then make sure Julia is alright. Noah tells Taylor he is so ashamed of himself, but it is Louie that is so ashamed of himself. Noah apologizes to Julia for not staying with her. Julia testified. She remembered back when Louie was grabbing her. Julia continues to testify that she saw Louie sell drugs to Jamal. Luckily Noah was not arrested for murdering Louie. But, after Noah married, Julia, Julia and Maria's reunion was short but sweet when after the plane crash that left Maria presumed dead, Julia briefly made contact with Mateo to warn him that the doomed flight might have been sabotaged. Mateo arranged for Julia to make a quick trip home to reunite with a back-from-the-dead Maria. Despite the fact that Maria was still an amnesiac, the women developed a fast bond.
That's why I love All My Children because of horses in the opening credits and I hoped you like hearing the Louie Greco story about when Noah did a right thing.
This DVD of Jeopardy! is a great DVD of Jeopardy to watch over and over again and the best ever............... and that is why the best Black Beauty books only for Jeopardy are Black Beauty books illustrated by Libby Turner published by Brimax in 1985, illustrated by William Geldart, illustrated by Neil Reid published by Prospero books in 2001, illustrated by Scott McKowen, adapted by Lisa Church and illustrated by Lucy Corvino, adapted by June Brigman and Roy Richardson and the Jeopardy! would be like the best perfect ones ever.
Jeopardy! reminds me of the DVD movies of The Silver Stallion, Disney's the Lion King, Fly Away Home, Painted Hero starring Dwight Yoakam, Bonanza, Vol. 8: The Spitfire/The Stranger/The Mission, Brokeback Mountain, Bonanza/The Lone Ranger, The Cowboy Way, Disney's the Princess Diaries, Bonanza, Vol. 1: Feet of Clay/The Last Viking/Bitter Water/The Savage, Bonanza, Volume 3: The Courtship, The Savage, Breed of Violence, The Last Viking, Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again, Disney's The Pacifier with Vin Diesel, Virginia's Run, Bonanza, Vol. 7: The Last Trophy/Silent Thunder/The Hopefuls/The Spanish Grant are all perfect for JEOPARDY! but the real one for JEOPARDY! reminds you of Painted Hero starring Dwight Yoakam and that is the real favorite movie Painted Hero starring Dwight Yoakam as if covering the year for 2006 which is perfect as well too, and that just fits me well! YEEEHHHAAAA!
Well, keep watching all of the four episodes of Ken Jennings.
I am saying so long.
Happy trails to JEOPARDY!
It is the best old time shows ever to watch over and over again everyday.
I loved, enjoyed, and liked this DVD and it is the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a CLASSIC DVD OF JEOPARDY! Let 'er buck!
Also, one more thing. The tournament of the Pendleton Round-Up Rodeo in Pendleton, Oregon was established in 1990 in memory of Mike Currin, calf ropers Dave P. Smith, David Bowen and Randy Dierlam. The four cowboys and pilot Bob Card were killed in a plane crash July 4 on Mount Rainier as they were traveling to a rodeo in Ponoka, Alberta. The tournament is limited to the first 144 golfers.
What a CLASSIC DVD OF JEOPARDY! Let 'er buck again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A wonderful JEOPARDY DVD!.......2006-10-22
This dvd is very great and wonderful, especially since it has the complete first Jeopardy show, from 1984! It is really incredible to see that 1st J. show again! I wish all of Jeopardy's (to date) 22 years would be released on DVD. Wouldn't that be something! Alex Trebek is incredible. He is the greatest celebrity of all time, in my humble opinion. Long live both Alex, and Jeopardy, the greatest guy and show ever on TV!
What a great DVD of Jeopardy to watch over and over again! The best ever......................2006-05-14

Thunder Dan's Jeopardy DVD Review.......2006-02-22
These video is awesome. I have been a jeopardy since I was 5 years and now I am 21. I thought it was really cool for the video to include the very 1st show hosted by Alex Trebek, man what a difference in 21 years. I also thought it was cool for them to include Ken Jennings last episode especially because the tape I have it on broke and I was very disappointed when that happen. I hope that jeopardy last forever.
It has everything every Jeopardy! viewer wants. What is this DVD Alex? Correct!!!.......2006-01-07
Wow This DOES have it all! The first episode hosted by Alex in 1984. He looks WAY younger! Ken Jennings' last regular game apperance and the final three UTOC games, plus behind the senes featurettes you won't find anywhere else! A must have for any Jeopardy fan!

Customer Reviews:
