Bent, AKA Simon and Nail, have been DJ'ing across the globe in the last couple of years, usually in the smaller, more intimate rooms of big clubs - this has allowed them to play around, to experiment with loads of different styles and hundreds of different tunes, ranging quite literally from the sublime to the ridiculous. Theirs is a vibe and a sound that feels like home. Call it spacey disco, or maybe Bent disco would be more appropriate. Whatever you name it, it feels and sounds just right, whether you listen on a sunny Sunday morning or a gloomy Thursday afternoon. It's a sound filled with melody; it's groovy but always atmospheric. It's up, definitely uplifting, but not so fast that it drags you along to a place you'd rather not be. Seamless. 2005.

One Minute silence, are more than just a heavy band. They use the music of RATM, crosed with the amazing System of a Down. This London based band is possibly the only decent noise, sight or smell, to come out of London.

This is a fantastic recording and stands out as something unbique and different amongst my vast music collection.
This is all solo Rod Argent, just him and a grand piano.
The sound is crisp, rich and real, not glossy or produced whatsoever. The pieces are a mixture of esteemed classical works as well as a few of Rod's originals that all fit together well in the same collection.
The end result is cohesive and classy, never stuffy or strict, it's classical in style but the bowtie and coatails are optional here.

Classicaly speaking is a real sucess as both an artist's labour of love as well as a naturaly appealing piece of music for us the listeners.
