Corny, but that's what upbeat dance is.......2006-12-21

As mentioned above, this is an album of some pretty cheesy dance music, but if you like upbeat tracks, you will enjoy this disc.

Not exactly perfect.......2006-08-02

Let me start off by saying that this CD was disappointing. The music is great, however I would have liked it much better without the lyrics.

The first song : "I Like It" for example starts off with " I hate the treadmill every day, I hate the mundane things they say. The bordome sets in nine to five , at night thats when I come alive. I long to be connected I like to be affected the bright lights " WHAT??!! are you talking about. Dumb.......

Song #2 "I Like Love I Love Love"......(women speaking to an audience)..."I feel real good this evening and I like say I feel good for one reason. That were all here together , your beautiful, so I want you to give yourselves a great big round of applause" GAG ME WITH A LADLE. Two verses start off like this and they get worse.

3rd song: "Give it up" Naughty naughty you........ (there is a guy singing) I'm like a drug that can make you go crazzzy. Its like a candy that I know you'll find tasty. Chocolate love good to the last drop Can't get enough no you just can't stop. Daddy you can flip me, dip me know just when to lick me. Any time of the day. If you like cotton candy baby you know... SO give it up . you'll get addicted fast ......try it. Give it up.........turn the music up while you blow me........blow me away.....enough said.

4th song:"Dirty Laundry", color me ya is what it sounds like shes saying. This is the only song that I replayed because the lyrics didn't annoy me that much. WHen your joggin the music is what keeps your rythm goin. My Mom listened and she thought she was saying Gonorrhea. So there you have it.

5th song "Get it on" HEY DJ ............just sappy

6th song: "Plastic dreams" Everybody get on the disc floor........(screams in the background and hoots and hollars)

7t song: "Heaven".........this one is the first song I recognized and I liked the way they put it to techno. The music is great , her voice is nice and the words are FINALLY senseable

8th song; OMNIBUS....This one is pretty good. Starts off with lots of music then there is a little kids voice and more music and horns beep. and the little voice breaks in sounding real cute saying something indistinguishable and more music. Then "bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum I have no idea what it all means but I can jog to it. So out of the 8 so far ......whats this the 3rd song thats doable!!

9th song: "Obscura" Starts off with more techno music and thats how it ends.

10th song: "Livin on a prayer" Oh were half way there.........another song that I recognize and this version is ok.

11th song: Classical Gas: Not screechy........nice accoustical guitar introduced for a nice cool down thats short lived. Mom and I like this one.

12th song: "Miracle" whoever likes this one needs Dr Lauras book "The Ten Stupid Things Women Do To Mess Up Their Lives" A great song for weak willed women. ACKY

SO there you have it.. my opinion (and Moms)on this CD that didn't even get me home. Okay if you found it at a yard sale for a buck. Een then I'd barter.

I have been a fan of Andy Mac's for a while and I am so happy that this CD has finally come out. Andy has poppy, yet introspective lyrics mixed with an ecclectic mix of pianos and guitar making him a cross between the Beatles and Jason Maraz--only he's better than any other guy with a guitar out there right now.

Give the music a try, it'll set your toes a-tapping and erase any shyness you have about singing along.

great Eagles type cd!.......2005-12-08

Any fan of the rock band the Eagles, will love this great set of tunes. Featuring great harmony vocals, nice west coast pop tunes done very very well. One of the nicest surprises I've heard this year!

Not bad for generic commercial trance.......2006-04-14

Let me just preface that I dont think this trance compilation is bad, I just wouldnt say it was all that great either. it does have a few half decent upliftng vocal trance songs on it. Most of the songs sound very commercial and almost cookie cutter like. For someone who is just getting into trance, this is definitely a nice pick up. I guess ive become spoiled because im used to listening to good progressive stuff. The vocals arent that bad either if you're into vocal trance.

The biggest bang for you buck!.......2005-07-01

This CD is worth every penny spent, hands down! This is a great sample of some of the hottest female vocal trance artists over the last couple of years. Half of these artist only produced singles and purchasing singles can get costly. Why pay more when it's all on a single disc. Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl, DJ Sammy & Kate Ryan all have albums worth purchasing, I own most of them and they are great. The other artists on the disc are like one hit wonders and don't seem to have anything but singles, the same one's on this disc, as far as I can find.

This is a great playlist. They are not mixed into each other so great tracks for dropping into your own mix!

This is an excellent robbins mix of all the staple female vocal-trance hits from the last few years. This is a great place to start if you are just beginning to get into trance music, including songs by the most popular trance artists, such as Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl, DJ Sammy, and Kate Ryan.

Overpriced.......2007-01-14

Don't waste your money buying this CD. You get the EXACT same tracks on the Samurai Champloo, Vol 2 CD which is at a much better price. In fact, you get double the tracks. Don't bother importing this CD unless you just feel like looking at the cover art for some reason. lol You can find the Samurai Champloo, Vol 2 CD here on Amazon.
