artist thats on the rise.......2006-09-22
Man this cd is tight i mean hes smooth and tight. You might seem him on smooth sessions on B.E.T. To me this is one my best cds of all time definetly support this cd like another reviewer said go to his website and get it for 10 bucks. you wont be dissapointed.
Setting a new standard for Neo-Soul!.......2006-06-23
This is the of the most reflective, soulful, lyrically poingnat album neo-soul or otherwise that has surfaced in a long time. There has been such a dry spell of good music that the freshness of this album quenches the thirsty ears of fans of music with soul. One of the suprises on the album was the song called "Change For Me". This song has been pumpin' in all the clubs in Chicago. The house-headz have been "jackin'" to ths cut for the past couple of summers. Soul is back...thank goodness.
It's like listening to silk.......2006-02-27
I've owned this CD for a couple of years and have been meaning to write a glowing review of it for ages. Eric Roberson's voice is a true joy to hear and the way he writes his lyrics sends chills up my spine. There is a honesty in his music that travels across boundaries to a place where your true feelings reside. My favorite song is "Past Paradise" in which he opens with the words, "I lay here at night trying to shake the taste of marathon kisses." Words are truly powerful things and Eric is truly a master of them. Men can appreciate him because he speaks of things men don't talk about and women will enjoy him because, well...just listen and you'll see.
The Title should be "The Vault 4.0".......2006-02-25
I ordered this cd after browsing through amazon r& b artists, and his name popped up. Wow! This Cd is tight! He is a cross between
Dwele and Raheem DeVaughn , yet he has his own vibe! I am going to cop his other cd's because this one is so good. Standout tracks
are "Couldn't hear me", "Right Back To You", "Please Dont Leave Me", "Deaf Ears", "Past Paradise" , "She Ought To KNow" and bonus track "I Have a Song" , "Rock with You", and I'll give the most
outstanding track on the cd "Find A Way" 6 stars out of 5!!!!.
This track is awesome! (sounds like Dwele). This is one cd that
anyone who loves neo- soul has to add to their collection.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!!!
