2 out of 5 stars IS THERE LIFE AFTER CASH MONEY?.......2006-12-08

FIRST OF ALL THIS IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO B.G.'S BEST WORK, COMPARED TO HIS OLDER STUFF, OR EVEN LIFE AFTER CASH MONEY, THIS ALBUM IS GARBAGE, AND THAT IS WHY IT DID NOT GO PLATINUM, AND DISSIN LIL WAYNE AND BABY, COME ON, THEY ARE THE U.P.T. BABY MADE B.G. DON'T HATE CAUSE YOU GOT FIRED, AND B.G. IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE HOTTEST OF THE HOT BOYZ, LIL WAYNE IS MUCH TIGHTER, AND SELLS WAY BETTER THEN BG EVER WILL, BG'S OLDER STUFF IS TIGHT BUT THIS NEW STUFF IS JUST NOT CUTTIN IT, I HATE TO SAY IT , BUT THERE IS NOT MUCH LIFE LEFT AFTER CASH MONEY, FOR HIM , OR HIS EX LABEL MATE JUVENILE. BUT DO COP THE NEW BIRDMAN AND LIL WAYNE CD, IT IS OFF THE HOOK, EVERY SONG IS TIGHT.

5 out of 5 stars What else is there to say???.......2006-12-01

Once again B.G. proves why he's the hottest hot boy of em all. B.G. is by far the only gangsta rapper that is actually gangsta. You can just tell from album to album because he doesn't miss a beat in telling you that you will get messed up if you try to beef with him. This album is a classic for all fans of gangsta rap.

3 out of 5 stars missed title.......2006-01-15

the title should be switched with "Life After Cash Money"
Nice Album, but not nearly as good as Checkmate.

5 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!!!.......2005-08-24

In My Opinion this album is a classic. This is my favourite B.G. album. B. Gizzle was a drug addict when he made this album so you'd expect this album to be really weak, but it's not at all. B.G. says he dosen't do drugs anymore, which is good to hear. B.G. is one of the best rappers ever for sure.

MY TOP 5 FAVOURITE SONGS:
1. I'm Out Here
2. Keep It Gangsta
3. Jack Who?, Take What?
4. Hottest Of The Hot
5. Thought I Was Gone

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (Although I see from some of the reviews, that this album isn't for everyone)

5 out of 5 stars Hottest of the Hot .......2005-04-08

This dude has always been a young cat who got heads turnin, but now he is a true living legend and I'm most definetly feeling this dude!! I love you B- Gizzle!!!

Product Description

The Billy Gibson Band was nominated for a Blues Music Award in 2006, and the party hasn’t stopped since. In May, The BBC World recorded the band for a worldwide television broadcast on Destination Music. The Billy Gibson segment included interviews and band clips and reached millions of viewers in over 200 countries. As most blues fans know, Billy Gibson is a virtuoso harmonica player who was named 2005’s Beale Street “Entertainer Of The Year.” In a city where the blues is king, Gibson sits at the top of the heap. With artist and producer credits extending to more than a hundred recordings, Gibson is vital to the future of the blues. On Southern Livin’, Gibson returns to the studio with his tight blues rhythm section consisting of former Albert King band members David Bowen (guitar) and James Jackson (bass guitar), along with Cedric Keel on drums and special guest Charlie Wood on keys. Recorded in Memphis at Studio Daddy-O, this CD is likely to dominate the blues radio charts. With clever songs by both Bowen and Gibson, the band sounds better than ever and exudes a confidence some musicians possess, but few earn. The Memphis-based band is proud of their roots, as witnessed on the celebratory track “Mississippi.” The CD also includes a horn section on four of the tracks, adding even more to that funky Memphis sound. As in previous releases, Gibson’s acrobatic harmonica riffs are absolutely astounding. This CD is sweet and southern and definitely something to get up and shout about.

5 out of 5 stars Trill Southern Hip-Hop.......2005-02-15

After all the turmoil and controversy, Khujo and T-Mo are "Still Standing". This album is as good as it gets now days
with watered down rap and hip-hop. On this album the duo continues to slang dirty lyrics over well seasoned beats. A MUST BUY ALBUM!!!!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars Goodie is back...........2005-01-29

Following just six months after their dissapointing 4th album, Goodie Mob, consisting of only two members following Gipp's departure, have delivered what is easily their tightest album since "Still Standing".

Murder Madness Music 7/10 - If you are familiar with past Goodie Mob albums, this is just their ascending opening track ala They Don't Dance No Mo' etc.

Black History 9/10 - Some of T-Mo and Khojo's most inspired lyrics delivered alongside a cinematic backing track.

Gothic Funk 9/10 - Just as good as Black History and a little darker too.

Turn Your Whip 6.5/10 - Your standared Lil' John style crunk track, brings nothing new to the table but it is otherwise a decent leading track.

Puttin' On2Nite 9/10 - Following the crunk attidude set by "Turn Your Whip", this track absolutely kills it with funky production that leaves you questioning why this isn't the lead single.

Git High 8.5/10 - Progressive percussion is complemented by a simple bass riff and a heavy synth track lead by some good verses by Witchdoctor, Preacher and the two Goodie Mob members. This is very much an old-Goodie Mob style track

Bet Dat 5/10 - Boring latino-style backing track lead by come equally dissapointing raps and the awfully repeadative "BET DAT HEY!" shouting in the backround. Skip this one.

They Comin' Man 8/10 - This is more like it, obviously, the Goodie Mob wanted to make some latino-style music and while "Bet Dat" fell off badly, this track works thanks to some good delivery on the verses and a catchy latino chourus ala "Lucifer" on Jay-Z's "The Black Album".

Superfriends 6.5/10 - A somewhat boring Goodie Mob semi-reunion cut with Gipp, Khjho and T-Mo rapping about each other's friendship.

Hillbillies 6.5/10 - Another boring track where the Goodie crew, along with Witchdocter run over some annoying southern cliches and crunk trash.

Lock and Load 6/10 - After hearing this track, you have a sense that this album had fallen off since "Bet Dat" until it is saved by.....

Probly Never 8/10 - The album is saved at last with a funky electro-style crunk track.

24/7/365 8/10 - What a better way to end the album then with another Goodie Mob semi-reunion track! Here, T-Mo imitates former member, Cee-lo's trademark crooning to lead into one of the most direct Cee-Lo disses since his departure from the group.
