About the Artist
Singer/songwriter Christine Cordone has compiled her ten most requested originals in a CD entitled "All Dressed Up". The songs included on the country-rock flavored album were written during her "Woodstock Years". Christine lived, recorded and performed in Woodstock and New York City for over a decade. She wrote for and sung in bands that were recorded by the Tappan-Zee/Columbia label with Bob James, producer/publisher/manager Marshall Chess, and countless other small and not-so small independent labels and recording projects. In possession of impeccable pitch and pristine tonal quality, Christine became a much-in-demand harmony vocalist and worked in the many recording studios in Woodstock and New York. She garnered a reputation as a veteran non-stop, pedal-to-the-metal live performer/bandleader who worked tirelessly and had an uncanny ability for assembling all-star musicians. Christine Cordone has been living and performing in Key West, Florida for the past several years. She performs mostly solo accompanying herself on acoustic guitar. This is somewhat a "return to her roots" as she started out singing her originals in coffeehouses when she was a teen. This "All Dressed Up" CD is Christine's answer to her many fans' recent requests for her music.

This CD offers a musical array of heartfelt songs about life and love. The songs will surprise and delight you. Christine's songs vary from pop to rock, country, folk and even a little bit of reggae. There is a deep rich acoustic guitar sound enhanced by some of the top New York studio session men. The sidemen on this CD have played, toured and recorded with Bob Dylan, Shawn Colvin, Blood Sweat and Tears, Steely Dan, Dan Brubeck, Joni Mitchell, Pheobe Snow.
