About the Artist
Turning back the pages of time as a little boy I loved country music. I came from a family of seven who all played country music for home enjoyment. My dad bought me my first guitar when I was 6 years old. We used to listen to John Henry Folk and later Wayne Raney on WCKY. I would sing along with the radio. My father died when I was 15 and since then my mom was a great inspiration to me. Its with great honor that I do this tribute to Hank Williams. He has been my idol for many years. One of my greatest moments was the time that part of Hank Williams original band backed me up on some of my shows. It was a thrill I will never forget. This album is a dream I have had for many years. It all became possible after I reunited with an old friend, Benny Holcomb.
