About the Artist
CroSSwindZ is an exciting innovative group of musicians led by David Mobley & Cliff Turpin who believe that everyone enjoys great music no matter what genre it is, (Rock, Pop, Country, Love Songs, Blues, etc.). "A great song is a great song no mater the genre". They conceived the idea while collaborating in the writing and production of their latest CD "Hot Acoustic Nite". The CD features the diverse sounds of CroSSwindZ. Each song exhibits a distinct musical genre that can clearly be identified as Rock, Pop, Love Songs, Country, Blues, etc. Never before has a single group of musicians accomplished such a wide variety of on target sounds. CroSSwindZ is truly an extraordinary cutting edge group that crosses boundaries and breaks the convention of a one band sound.
Cliff Turpin & David Mobley write and arrange all the original music performed by CroSSwindZ. This is not the first collaborative effort the duo embarked upon. They have written and produced music together since their first release album in the mid 1970's entitled "High Park". The artistic influences of the Eagles, James Taylor, and America are evident throughout their song writing styles. The two have a long history of writing and producing music, and the "Hot Acoustic Nite" CD is another fine example of the musical synergy they create when combining their talents.
