I heard a cut from Sheri Petta and enjoyed it so I ordered her only album and have played it over and over. She is gifted with a silky smooth syrupy voice - a torch singer with soul and perfect pitch - a real find.

Sherry Petta's music resonates with a fresh new sound. Her voice is clear and clean...reminds me of listening to jazz in a hot club, but without any smoky haze... a contemporary sound for today. I have given Sherry's CD as a gift to many friends and they all enjoy listening to it over and over again. The lilt in Sherry's voice is just charming. Buy this CD today for hours of listening pleasure.

You must buy this CD. While visiting Arizona recently, I heard a song from this CD on the radio. I figured the singer was some famous person, and then I heard the DJ say it was from an "upcoming star". Well he was right. This woman can sing! All of the songs put you in a calm, relaxing, and "feel good" state of mind. In short, Sherry Petta's music is magical! I highly recommend it.

        This album is AMAZING. I only wish I would have found it sooner. There is a song for every mood. "Crazy" is a foot-stomping, rockin' good song that is sure to have you dancin' around the house. While the slower ballads like "Somebody Tonight" and "Day After Day" create a mellow, soothing tone. I definitely recommend this to all country/folk music fans.

        I bought two copies of this CD...one for home and one for my car! The Front Porch Country Band offers a wide range of music. With country rockin' tunes like "Crazy" and soft love songs like "Somebody Tonight" this CD is perfect for every mood.

        I've been following The Front Porch Country Band since July 2001 when their first single, "Hot Rock Came To The Country" hit the airwaves. The song is about a 30-ton meteor that streaked across the east coast. As the story goes, the band was sitting on the front porch of their recording studio when they heard the sonic meteor streak out of the sky and land in a nearby field. Shocked by what they witnessed, the band turned their thoughts into music and 72 hours later the NEW ROCKIN' COUNTRY SOUND was hitting airwaves across the nation. "Somebody Tonight" is a MUST HAVE CD for the sheer fact that you can hear "Hot Rock Came To The Country"!!!

        If you have already listened to The Front Porch Country Band's music than you know they are on their way TO THE TOP!!! There's something about them. I first heard their music on MP3.com when I was searching the WORLDWIDE TOP 40 COUNTRY CHARTS. The title track of their debut album, "Somebody Tonight" was listed #1 on MP3.com's WORLDWIDE COUNTRY BLUES CHARTS - along with six other tracks from the Somebody Tonight CD. The best part of this CD is that it's compiled of 14 tracks of all original music.
