About the Artist
Tony Caton Wintrip, age 26 was born in Aberdeen, Washington to Kathy and Pete Wintrip. He lived in Aberdeen and was raised along with two brothers. He graduated from Aberdeen High School and attended Centralia Community College for two years. He started teaching himself to play guitar in 1996 and participated in choir at the college to gain more experience singing and playing guitar. He started writing his own music when he was 20 years old. His father introduced him to Country music as a child by playing Hank Jr. songs while hunting.
Tony's personal music library consists of over forty of his own songs. He opened for Brian White at the Grays Harbor County Fair last year in Elma, Washington. This year, (in 2000), Tony put his live band together. The members are, Tom Queen-Lead and rhythm guitar, Jeff Cotton-Drums, and Doug George-Bass Guitar.
Currently, Tony resides in Centralia, Washington with his wife Cheryl and his daughter Kenady and son Cole. When he is not singing or writing music, Tony enjoys fishing, hunting, sports, hanging with his family and the great outdoors.

If you haven't gotten Tony's latest CD, you better get it. Tony and his band "the Long Way" will be hittin' the road soon Beggining June 16th in Winlock WA for the Egg Festival. On July 4th in Aberdeen WA at the Splash Festival. In August Tony and the Long Way will be very busy, starting on the 8th at the Grays Harbor County Fair including a solo performance with Billy Dean, Susie Boggus and John Barry! On the 16th at the Lewis County Fair in Centralia, WA, and on the 24th & 25th at the Pacific County Fair in Menlo, WAAAA!
