About the Artist
Pat Montes was born and raised singing Country music, and has performed throughout the state of Texas over his lifetime. His first single release from this album, entitled "The Narrow Trail", was mailed to 1000 Christian Country radio stations in June of 1998 and topped the charts at #4 in January of 1999. It was listed in the top 100 Christian Country songs of 1998. He has had numerous radio and magazine interviews, and currently has a New York based booking agency scheduling a 100-150 date tour for the year 2000. Willow Wind Records producer, Larry Wilson, is also currently making plans to release Pat's second single, "Where There's Will", to Christian Country radio in August. In his career, he has opened for such acts as Gene Watson, Lee Greenwood, Southern Pacific, Mason Dixon, Foster & Lloyd and others. His unique style has entertained audiences everywhere. He also entertains the crowds with his exact impersonations of Willie Nelson and other well-known artists.
