Label Comments
" Who is she? What kind of a name is Kiya? This record is so appealing that we just don't care. Her voice has a whole lot of character and the funky conjunto beat makes the song irresistable. Can't wait to hear more. Gavin Report May 28. 1993
" Right in the acoustic borders of Country and Folk, her gravelly tones and strident guitar will definitely attract the attention of those bewiched by Nancy Griffith, et al. True Frontiers has got talent, guts, and heart, which is what Kiya Heartwood is all about. As the old Irish addage would go, " There's eating and drinking in it". Potent Stuff." John O' Regan, Broadcaster and journalist, Limerick, Ireland
