Editorial Reviews
Jessica Parker, Dallas Observer
"The jarring "broken keys" is the most Liz Phairish track on the album, complete with sirens and the confrontational tale of a lover's inability to open the singer's heart. Follow that up with her cover of Carly Simon's "you're so vain," and you might decide to never date again. That's OK because staying home and listening to this disc is just as satisfying and a lot less painful."

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great music........1999-09-09

I met a guy, while working in Yellowstone N.P., in 1994. He was from Texas and was a friend of Merediths. He had an older unreleased CD of hers and made me a copy. I fell in love with her music and her voice. She sings from the heart. I would like to have a copy of that CD, unfortunately I don't think it was ever released.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful stuff.......1999-07-14

Meredith Miller has a fresh perspective and a captivating sound that is all her own. Much of her original music in this CD relates her uncertainty about relationships and her hopes for a better life. Miller's version of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" makes the oldie listenable again, and she wisely applies her own smart touches without trying to make it something completely different.

This CD gets even better with every repeated listen. Miller is a musical treasure, and this CD is highly recommended.
