This cd was very calming. I liked the beats for the first Four songs and the beats and choruses got stuck in my head from time to time. Overall, I think people who like the older r and b sound will like this cd.

Having heard the song "Celebrate" on the Michael Baisden show, I really enjoyed Jeff's smooth sound and his old school melodies. This is a great album and I really enjoy listening to the whole CD. It's feel good music so try it for yourself if like old school R&B.

I first got wind of Jeff Hendrick's cd from "The Michael Baisden" show on KISS-FM. The cd is great from start to finish. Very soulful, with a smooth relax feel. The best cd I've heard in a long time.

This is a terrific disc featuring Hank Marr in top form. It is unfortunate that there is little recorded material by him, but I have see him play live many times. The band is awesome, and they do some nice standards, as well as Hank's tunes. If you are into jimmy Smith, or organ jazz at all, give this one a try.

I love 'Bout Time the most out of all the S&W albums. Why? Because it's fun. When I listen to it on the way to work it picks up my mood and ensures that I'll be smiling when I get to the office. Listening to it on the way home lets me leave everything behind and move onto happier hours. I moved north a few years ago and leaving the south was, and still is, difficult for me. When I start singing along with this album, I am transported to where I listened to it the first time.

My son turned me onto Stewart & Winfield and is an ardent fan of theirs. I knew I had him for a good reason! :o)

"About Time," the debut recording from Georgia's country rock duo Stewart and Winfield, is my least favorite effort of their efforts. It may be that I'm coming at this one backwards---that is, I listened to their later work first---and feel this one pales in comparison.

There are some very good tracks here, Catatonic and Easter Sunday Blues spring to mind, but the energy of their later sessions is not as apparent here, especially in the acoustic numbers that dominant the first half of the CD.

Hence, I don't think this recording will likely draw many converts to the Stewart and Winfield camp, but it should satisfy those who want to own the duo's catalog or who prefer acoustic sets to a more full-fledged sound.

Pieces Of A Dream, a jazzy band, tries some New Jack Swing here for the sake of the moment, and Teddy Riley's former partner and manager Gene Griffin aids in that. The NJS tunes ("Bout Dat Time," for example, peaked at no. 32 on the Billboard's R&B chart) are interesting, as well as the more R&B and jazz related tunes ("What Can I Do," for example, peaked at no. 17). It's a nice album worth checking out.

    I've been to the Chuck Lambert Band's live shows, and it's a great time, every time. They play some of the best blues music in the New Jersey shore area. With great guitar riffs, an outstanding harmonica, on the distinct classic blues voice of Chuck Lambert, it's a party all night long. The CD captured the energy, and love of great blues music. If you're a fan of blues, this is a must have. If you're in New Jersey, it's worth taking the time to go see this band live. They're great with the fans, they'll take requests, and they'll get you out on the dance floor with their rhythmic tunes. If you're not in the Jersey area, get this CD, and feel what the Jersey shore feels.
