About the Artist
There is not a dance floor in the world that has not felt the "stomp" of dancer's feet to a Scooter Lee Song. She provides dancers with music that is phrased with a beat to make them move yet, has a vocal that is infectious for those wanting to hear a country song. Traveling 150 days a year, she will find herself surrounded by 1000s of dancers one night and in the middle of a concert hall surrounded by 1000s of country music listeners the next. Her market seems to be out of the USA and she embraces it with all the "gusto" a Southern Belle can give. Whether it's a show at the London Palladium, the New Orleans Superdome or the Rotterdam Stadium she will leave you "craving" for more and not able to forget her. Spending six months a year out of the USA, Scooter is making plans for bigger and better things in 2001 with her 2002/03 World Tour.

Each year has found her latest album nominated by the British Country Music Dance Association. They enter the British COUNTRY MUSIC Charts in the top 20 each time one is released.

She holds the British title "Country Dance Artist Of The Year" for 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 & 2001. She was inducted into the British Dance Hall Of Fame for 2000. You've seen her perform during the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia & the 1997 Orange Bowl Half-time Show along side the "Mavericks" in Miami, Florida. She is also the "singing voice" heard on the Longhorn Steakhouse Restaurant TV & Radio Commercials in the Southeast and the NBA Charlotte Hornets Commercial.

For those who live in the USA, you will soon find Scooter involved in the Senior Olympics. You know about the Winter Olympics, the Summer Olympics, and the Special Olympics and soon you will be hearing about the Senior Olympics. With over 300 Senior Games per year that lead up to the 50 State Games that lead to the Senior Olympics in Hamptons, Virginia, Scooter and former CMT Host Jo Thompson are working hand in hand in introducing Linedancing to the games for all the emotional and physical benefits. Soon anyone over 50 will be able to go to the games and Linedance just "for the health of it." Meanwhile, back in Atlanta, GA., where she now lives (when she is not traveling)she runs her own production company which produces instructional dance videos of the highest quality for line dancers and those who want to learn couple dances such as Two-Step, Nightclub Two-Step, Swing and Hustle.

Product Description
Scooter's a work in progress. Her latest release is Volume 2 of her Greatest Hits Package entitled ‘More Of The Best'. Just when you thought she couldn't get any better, this new album proves she can and did. Scooter has finally come into her own "style" of singing and singing she does on this album. She approaches "oldies but goodies" like "Splish Splash, Pride and Joy, Wonderful One and Barefootin" like they were written just for her. To the raw edged selfpenned "If You Love Me," to the revival of Brenda Lee's "Roll Back The Rug", this savvy survivor from New Orleans has an uncanny Genius of turning a word or phrase in a new way. Sparkling among the highlights are gems such as "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" (already ear-marked as a forthcoming single) to the infectious Cajun "Moving On Up and I Love My Louisiana Man" both self-penned by this Louisiana Babe as a musical tribute to the roots of her raising. It's a must have for dancers with 21 Tracks of "Sure Fire Floor Fillers" whether you line, partner or couple dance.
