Customer Reviews:
country, kinda........2005-04-09
Just heard 3 songs and was pleasantly surprised. Not a big country-western fan, but this rings Cash-ish(which i like, dont consider that country). More like "young country" with a bit of a dark or realistic tone. Eric ak is vocals,(flotsam and jetsam) does a good job. His vocals are smoooth and deep, while the band compliments itself with tight execution of the semi psuedo-country riffs. Cool stuff, intriquing to the open minded listener. probably not for the old school country fan. But try it. Ya never know.

From out of the west comes a unique sound that captures influences from such legendary Country acts as Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings while combining the melody, songwriting and musicianship of today's biggest country stars. This is "A Different Brand Of Country" this is The AK Corral
