What is a dream worth? Stacy Whited believes that hers are worth nurturing, holding close to her heart, and never letting them die.

Stacy was raised in Hutchinson, Kansas. She always loved music, and by the age of nine she already knew that she wanted to be a professional singer. At 19 years old, Stacy's voice, stage presence and beauty earned her the title of Miss Hutchinson, at the Kansas State Miss America Pageant. That experience provided the talented young Stacy with even more opportunities to sharpen her skills.

Around this time, Stacy began a romance with a high school friend, David Whited, and within a short time, the couple were married. Soon, they had their first child, and they were faced with adult realities and responsibilities. Barely out of adolescence herself, Stacy's long-held dreams of pursuing a singing career gave way to the need to make an income to help support her family. She worked as a cosmetologist, barely making ends meet - all the while hoping she could return to her singing someday. However, an unexpected second pregnancy proved to be a major turning point for the couple. A rare condition left the young mother very ill, completely bedridden, and unable to work. The full weight of making a living for the family then fell on her husband's shoulders. Sometimes he worked a hundred hours a week at part-time jobs to supplement his income, and he even sold blood plasma to cover the cost of her medications, but it was never enough. It appeared that an even more difficult future lay ahead for them.

Now, just a few short years later, Stacy has regained her health, and the young couple have found the keys to financial success with a home-based product brokerage company. Stacy is a rising star within the direct-selling industry, where she is a sought-after trainer and motivational speaker. This turn-of-fortune has allowed Stacy to finally launch her singing career. She and her family have relocated to Nashville, where she has completed work on her debut album, Give, an uplifting collection of contemporary country songs. Recorded with top Nashville studio musicians, Give is a dream-come-true for Stacy. "Sometimes we have to postpone our dreams, but we don't have to give them up," she states.
